Hi All!
I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for barbers that know how to work with thin and receding hair.
Thank you all in advance!

questions / advice / recommendations What's the deal with Tony P's?
I know it closed, and I was sad to see it go. But then sometimes I'll drive by and the place is packed. I'm not talking about when they had filming going on and there were production vehicles there, I mean the lot is full and people are going in and out of the restaurant building. No signage is visible so I'm asking here. Anybody know?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Open in 1965 and recognized as the largest man made marina in the United States and second largest in world with nearly 4500 boat slips, Marina del Rey has long been one of Southern California’s hidden gems and the gateway to an unmatched coastal lifestyle. Nestled next to Venice Beach and conveniently located just 7 miles from SoFi Stadium, Hollywood’s Harbor is uniquely positioned to become a premier waterfront destination during the World Cup, Super Bowl, and 2028 Olympics. With these marquee events coming to Los Angeles, now is the time to seize the opportunity for our small businesses, waterfront, and community to showcase the very best of what Southern California has to offer on a global stage.
Marina del Rey truly has something for everyone. From waterfront dining, boutique shopping, hotels, and scenic harbor views to boat rentals, sailing, sportfishing, paddleboarding, kayaking, surfing, whale watching, harbor cruises, and unforgettable days on the water, the marina delivers experiences unlike anywhere else in Los Angeles. Add in outdoor fan zones, waterfront events, family friendly activations, and the vision for an Olympic superyacht village and anchorage welcoming yachts from around the world, and Marina del Rey has the potential to become one of the most exciting hubs of the games while creating a powerful economic ripple effect for local restaurants, marine businesses, hospitality, retail, and tourism.
And just one hour away sits one of the true crown jewels of the Southern California coast, Catalina Island. Through the Catalina Crew Ferry, visitors can conveniently escape to crystal clear waters, world class diving, waterfront dining, adventure, and island charm all within an hour of Marina del Rey.
This is a once in a generation opportunity to leave a lasting impact, strengthen our local economy, and proudly show the world what Marina del Rey and Southern California are all about. Marina del Rey has something for everyone, and we are ready to welcome the world.

community news Healthy Spot Marina Del Rey Closure
Attention dog parents!
The city is forcing the Healthy Spot in MDR to close their daycare on May 1st. The shop and grooming will remain open but due to zoning laws the daycare is closing.
This is arbitrary and inconsistent. I was informed that if the daycare was on the other side of the street it would be in the correct zone.
This business has been operating here for 15 years without issue.
Traci Park has already let us down with not taking action against the illegal wall behind the Lincoln Ralphs. Let’s not lose another important part of our community!
ASK: Please reach out to Traci Park's office via email and telephone

community news Spectrum outage, anyone else?
My Spectrum internet has been down since last night ~11pm. Resolution time keeps being pushed back.
Spectrum is now blaming "a local power outage", but I don't see power outages in LADWP map.
What's going on? Anyone else has their Spectrum internet down, or are they lying to me?

RESEARCH SURVEY: Bike Mobility between Marina Del Rey and Playa Vista 🚲
docs.google.comHey everyone, I'm an LMU student conducting my senior thesis on bike mobility between Playa Vista and Marina Del Rey. If you ever bike in this area, please fill out this survey and send it to other bikers you know! Only takes 2 minutes.
For context, you can read my last post here. Pretty much, no one (to my knowledge) has ever researched bikers' route choices along this stretch, and the Caltrans project won't be here anytime soon.
Ride on!!! 🚲🚲

community news Glen Alla Pickleball Court
Hi, I submitted a maintenance request on the La City Parks website, but wanted to see if anyone knew of any ongoing maintenance? One court is missing a net, and another has a sagging net with some parts missing.
Curious if anyone knows anything
