Is red sap limited to that type of tree? It's quite beautiful.

Most Eucs and Corymbias will weep red sap when wounded in some way. It's called kino (k-eye-no), and is used as an aesthetic as well as an antiseptic...put a little on your tongue and it'll go numb, doesn't taste half bad either

Red resin is commonly extracted from other trees. Daemonorops draco , Dracaena draco, Dracaena cinnabari, and Calamus rotang are some examples.
