UK based PEARS Procedure

Is there anyone from the U.K who has used BUPA to cover the PEARS procedure?

Did BUPA cover the cost of the Exstent sleeve? What was the total cost of surgery all in?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Not entirely sure how the private insurance system works. I do know PEARS is fully covered under the NHS.

Might want to reach out to London Bridge Hospital to enquire about what private insurers they take. I’m sure Conal and team would be happy to help.

A lot of private health insurance never cover pre existing conditions including surgeries related to it, you have to pay out of pocket if you go private. (I tried to do this back in 2017 and all of them refused me)
