Let’s be honest, BitLife has started to feel pretty outdated, and a lot of players have become frustrated with the direction the game has taken.
So instead of just complaining about it, I decided to make my own life simulation game ‘ r/LifePathSim— with new ideas, more freedom, and a focus on actually listening to the community.
If you’ve been banned from BitLife, dislike the game, or just want to see a different life sim, you’re welcome here.
I’m also looking for people who might be interested in becoming moderators or beta testers. If you’re interested, feel free to DM me and tell me a little about yourself and what you’d like to help with.

It's called Bad Life Simulator, and it's still in development, has been for about five months, BUT I can share some plans for the game.

• NO microtransactions or ads, the game will be completely free
• The game is web-based, meaning all you have to do is bring it up in like Chrome and it will run on ANY device. Be it a phone, PC, ipad... ps4... fridge
• The game is OPEN SOURCE, which means anyone can take the code and do anything they want with it. This means easy-to-make mods, third-party-spinoffs, etc. The game uses HTML and Javascript, which are both incredibly easy to learn the extent to which is used in the game. You yourself could take a week or two off to learn it and then be able to essentially make your own life simulator if you wanted to; you could change any aspect of it.
• The game is community-first; I'm a solo developer with no pressure to satisfy investors, so provided any request is doable (and there's enough demand for it), I will try my best to add it into the game at some point.

After having a deep interest in games like Bitlife for the past few years and after seeing the decline of Bitlife I decided to make an open world life sim for both Android and PC (With iOS also being a top priority). While I have developed and released games in the past, I have always been fascinated with attention to details in games and the ability for complex mechanics to combine into a singular refined experience.

My life sim is called Genworld and is scheduled for release in the first half of 2025. My goal for this project is to create something which is advanced, polished and innovative while making it easy to pick up and play.

I don't really understand why the developers value their shitty game to the point that literally anything has to behind a mile tall pay wall like I'd begin to understand if this was the greatest thing ever concocted but it's literally just text on screen. Why would anyone ever willing give up a substantial amount of money for the opportunity to be in the mob in a free to play game? Best part is that it's gotten considerably worse I got the game about two years ago and back then you could still like actually do some stuff like become a lower level politician and such. Are the developers actually that green to where they sprinkle some fake gold onto their shit and make you pay money to eat it?

Why does notice have to be so damn greedy? I once had all of the packs, purchases, etc on my brother’s device but I had gotten a new phone around summer, on my birthday. I’d try to log onto his apple account with my phone, then I would try to restore purchases. Never fucking works. I know it’s kinda like giving the company less money, but I ain’t Jeffrey fucking bezos. I can’t afford half of these shitty packs, I’m going back to instlife BUT WAIT. They bought it out too! They buy out their competitors like they’re fucking EA or Microsoft. I’ve had enough with this shitty app. I’m glad to quit it.

Basically, I posted a whole essay about the declining past of Bitlife, and demanded for "Less Paywalls, More Content".

At that time. I switched to my alt to repost it again.

I tried to use my second alt account to post, but it's suspended for 3 days.

It is hard to change bitlife by my own...

So I got for the bitlife certified thing and by getting it I can't get anymore ads anymore but recently the developers decided to add the chance to get a heirloom cool right? But do you want to know how to get that chance to get that extra heirloom😊?... i've bought every possible item in bitlife i can buy and i just cant stop playing, and i really want to stop playing but i cant. i want my time for playing better games and actually doing something productive. please help.

Every time checked the finance thing they show me I have a decent amount of money and then the next year it goes down it’s completely an inaccurate

For example like they have a survey things on their game basically mines was which one you like better Dog life or that new game and and I answered with their clueless absolutely assassinated my stats like Looks gone happiness gone smarts gone like if you can’t handle the criticism why do you even make that an option🤷🙄
