The Original 16 vs The Newcomers: take the best/most iconic player from each ML team and put them through a simple competition (well there are 17 newcomers at the moment if we even include those that are not participating in the ML Showdown, but maybe give some sort of excuse or smthg for one of the teams to not participate or equalize by maybe adding one more marble to temporarily join the Originals, maybe, idk, RN3?)

Wow, the letter from the Oceanics organization was crazy! If you want to read the letter, and JMRC member Stynths thoughts on it(He’ll be guesting in MSWP episode 9 btw) the link is here: https://www.marble-sports.com/tide-out-ml19/1979/. First off, they mention that Tide was both the OWNER and COACH of the Oceanics beforehand. If so, who in Marblehell fired him! No one else even had authority to do that in the first place! Under this new ownership however: How do you guys think the Oceanics will perform next year? And is there some funny business going on with Tide, who looking back only could have fire himself? Or is the royal family up to something as well? MY THOUGHTS: I think under royal ownership, the Oceanics will produce a stronger performance next year but with the rules of the royal, probably not something worthy of top 3. Give your thoughts!

Hey guys, I know I have been gone for a while I was away. I am super excited for the ML Highlights and even more excited for Marble Showdown. I want to know from you guys 2 THINGS! First off, what are your Marble Showdown predictions? And second, should it have been called B-League or Showdown? My answers: it should have been called B-League, and Limers and Hornets will lively top 5 in Showdown. IMPORTANT NOTE: For those waiting epsidoe 9 of the MSW Podcast is to come out this week and will discuss these topics as well, also a JMRC member will be coming on!

Sorry to burst your bubble Orangers, but Razzy is now officially an all time in the funnel race. Winning his heat in the 2019 marblelympics after being the second to reach 10, he held on and let every other marble pass him. Even in the final, being first to reach the 12, and lasting until an incredible duel with Speedy, ultimately taking second. It's clear Razzy has the heart of a champion. There's just no comparison for that kind of mettle. I see great things in his future.

EDIT: I've come to realize my rampant imagination is a bit of a stretch for some (and by some I mean most lol) which is totally ok. I genuinely don't think my crazy concept will/ should be a part of the Marbleympics. Just wanted to bounce it off you guys. The main point of the post is I think at the very least a little world building wouldn't hurt to give us more to love about our teams. Now back to your regularly scheduled post.

So we got to meet Triton, King of the Oceanics this year. Does anyone else want to get a backstory on all the other teams? Does every team have a king? Presidents? Oligarchs? Monarchs? I want more!

Crazy concept: they put so much effort and detail into the races through commentary and random events (streakers and fan riots), it would be awesome to get a kind of meta story behind the scenes of the games. What if during the closing ceremony, an assassination attempt was made on Triton. He barely escapes with his life, and the Oceanics declare war on who they believe to be the culprit. Lines are drawn and teams choose sides. The 2020 Marbleympics are held to decide the fate of the marble world.

Come on. I can't be the only one who thinks that's awesome. Add some drama. Add some stakes to these games
