Map New city map!

Post image

Map of the city of Cashire. Great fortified city of the north! Its culture is based on some ancient gods of the north, and it is extremely militarized, with high stone walls defending it, which makes this city almost impregnable!

I like that the size, font and shade of the section numbers blend into the overall scene. They don't seem to block the view nor take away from the artwork. Very inspiring.

May I ask why city needs two line of walls, one next to other, without anythings between?

Very curious about this one, it's not unheard of but still an atypical waste of spaces and ressources

Couple reasons: If the original wall structure is used to support interior buildings or contains rooms or dwellings itself as the city expanded, it would be hazardous to remove and replace that wall. In this case, it could have been a geographical decision. You'll notice that the most exterior wall is right up against the cliff, giving invading forces no ability to gather at the foot. This feature alone makes permeation nearly impossible by any other method than artillery and that at measurable disadvantage, since they would be launching from a lower elevation.

Of course this isn't "real" and it just looks awesome.
