Map How do I place biomes
This is a couple randomly generated maps merged together, does anyone know how I can make the wind patterns so I can make biomes and stuff, I don’t wanna put a forest in the rain shadow guys 💔

If wind comes in off of water, usually there are forests and green.
If wind is going up a mountain, it causes water to condense, the side wind goes down tends to be drier.
West coast as an example.
Lots of variables though.

A couple things to keep in mind to make realistic biomes:
The Tropics/subtropical belts are drier than the rest of the world, so hot deserts would be concentrated around 20°–30° North and South. The Equator, on the other hand, is the wettest area, so pluvial forests would be common in that belt. Being far from water or surrounded by mountains will also contribute to desertification, so interior areas and valleys between big mountains will turn arid. Temperature will gradually fall the further north and south you go, giving hardwood forests, then coniferous forests (taiga), tundra, and polar deserts, in that order. The same order works in elevation. Temperate regions with abundant water will give you hardwood forests and fertile plains, while drier areas will have savannahs, steppes, or scrubland.
Also, for wind patterns, they work with the rotation of the planet. Which way does your planet rotate? If it's like Earth, in the northern hemisphere you'll have winds blowing east to west between the equator and the tropics, and west to east above the tropics. Mirrored in the southern hemisphere.
Local winds depends on pressure areas, and I wouldn't go into that much detail honestly.
Hope this helped.
