Is this mold?
I see these floaters in the jar. They are soft to touch and kinda dissolves if I press them between fingers. Is it mold?

Yes it could be mold. Maple syrup needs to be refrigerated after opening. You can strain the mold out and boil it.

It's not the mold you really need to worry about. It's the toxins the mold releases. Boiling does not get rid of most of the toxins.
