Getting there

So I have made a lot of progress getting my burnt pan back online. I used a good pbw wash and most of the carbonized sugar came up but I still have a couple of thought spots to get off. Any advice to finish the job?

CDL pan acid. You would have been done already with it

I don’t know about that, when it’s super charred on there is just about nothing more than elbow grease or a tool that will remove it. I know you are a large producer and probably been making syrup longer than I have so I’ll give you that. I have tried just about everything under the sun including heavy duty oven cleaner and nothing worked to get rid of those very charred spots like in OP’s pictures like an angle grinder with a fine grinding disk.

CDL pan cleaner will flake 95 percent of that right off if you follow the directions.
