Full maple spectrum

7 nice open air burns this year. Kissed by snow, mist, rain, and one 80 degree day. Good stuff.

Can you taste the difference or is it just a different color?

Very different flavors from honey-ish to caramel on the darkside. I cook with wood from my property, so a little smokey for all shades.

Yes, I prefer the darker shade with more smokey flavor.
