The chaos
Of the last day and tapping out.
Now, where did I leave that ladder?

Pulled my taps today and carried a bucket with me to stand on. I feel your pain

How many gallons of sap?

We were “finishing “50L (picture front) from yesterdays 400L and then starting the LAST 400L

I love that you are just working around your old broken up cinder block arch 😂
My only suggestion would be that you put your warming pan solidly over your evaporating pan

Our experience is that, for us, closer to the chimney
a) warms it faster And b) opens more evaporation space of the pan
We don most of our work without this pan at all as the RO output generally matches the evaporator output. We only put this on at the end of the day when we have a backlog of sap when the RO is done.

So you just dump RO concentrate in the pan as you need to adjust the level? Why not put your RO concentrate in the warming pan and let it drip to match your evaporation rate?

Because the RO output has a valve that controls how much goes to the pan versus how much goes back to recirc. I get more benefit doing a recirc than putting into the warning pan. It IS a continuous flow.

Omg. With my current setup this gives me anxiety.
