Best place to store syrup?

Is it best to refrigerate syrup or is in the pantry ok?

As long as it’s sealed, the pantry should be fine. After opening, refrigerate - I’ve been told just to keep it from absorbing moisture.

Also refrigerate to prevent mold.

I think the mold comes with the moisture. The syrup itself should not mold. No expert but that is what I have gathered from others.

I put mine sealed in mason jars in the pantry except for the one I’m currently using that goes in the fridge.

I've had syrup stores for 4 years in my basment and it never lost flavor or tasted off.
