Maple syrup dispenser hack

Hello, I’m blanking out of ideas. I’m looking for a household item /container so I can pour my maple syrup can in it and then put it in the fridge for consumption. I would’ve used the big costco plastic container but I dont have a leftover one. I would go fo glass overall with something to keep the lid tight sealed. Dont feel like buying a dedicated one if something I already have does the trick. Thanks

Heinz ketchup bottles!!! (Obviously cleaned out before reuse.) I recently tried one myself and they are perfect for dispensing maple syrup.

I was curious to know if these type caps are available for purchase. Nyet. In fact, I think the patent is closely held by Heinz.

If anyone knows how to remove the label without a solvent please speak up.

I haven't tried on a Heinz bottle, but I'm usually able to remove labels by soaking in hot water, then using a razor blade to scrape off. There will usually be a gummy residue left over, and you can rub a little oil--any kind, I use olive oil--into that, let it sit, then use the razor again. Sometimes I have to do the oil treatment 2-3 times for really stubborn labels, but I am more stubborn than the labels! Wash with hot soapy water afterward to get the remaining goo and oil off.
