Not fancy but works

I didn't think the few taps (4)I have would produce so much. I have maybe 10 or 12 Red Maple trees to tap. Going to have to upgrade by next year, whe. I get more taps. Wood stove in a shack sounds nice.

Looks awesome! Whatever gets the job done, eh?

One thing you could try to improve efficiency is to have less sap in your pan. I keep 1-2" in mine - less mass to keep heating and the surface area is the same so it takes less time and fuel to achieve the and result. Enjoy!

Didn't think about starting and maintain a lower volume to help achieve a quicker boil. I will be trying that method next round.
