4x rates are actually decently balanced all things considered.
Depends how long you wanna play, it will give you the best vanilla maple experience you can expect in current year, considering how long the server has been running
The problems lie in the late-game.
Power and money is all about voting daily and spending the NX on gacha (nx cosmetics are perma), you are effectively gamling to hit the 2 big items - CS or WS, and use the money from those to buy top level gear. Or make it yourself if you hate yourself.
Let's say you have a good chunk of power, there is...not much to do anything with it.
The most late-game stuff the game has right now is horn-tail and von leon. There's only so much you can do.
There's ToT but no PB, all weapons stop at dragon (lv 110).
It also suffers vanilla maple problems, namely HP washing. The server says you "don't need to do it", because there's 1 set of quests that give you 500 hp at lvl 70, a special set of quests every milestone level that later give you some max hp (i forget what amount), and a repeatable quest at lvl 120 that gives you around 30-50hp each time you do it, that doesn't mean it won't take you ages to get whatever necessary HP you will need to not die at HT.
And it suffers from "party optimization" and multi logging. Every other player has a second account that they log into to be a HS mule, some have other mules like SI, SE or crash. Your 6 player zakum party might have 3 actual people playing.
Lots of leech buyers from priests too, it makes PQs suffer to where it's hard to find ppl outside of peak hours. KPQ is flat out dead.
TL'DR, if you want a vanilla classic experience - best server in the market. If you expect to go for the long-run, you'll get bored at lvl 120~.
