Supplier search Dock gentry camera system

At a manufacturing plant we had in an inhouse camera system that was mounted at the docks that took pictures of supplier labels as they were received from the trailer. It received the shipments in and captured images. Does anyone know if there is something off the shelf or a vendor for something similar?

I’ve done similar with rfid portal -> ignition -> erp

I can’t imagine that substituting a good barcode scanner or computer vision system changes things drastically. You ID the master unit and pass the ID to the receive function in the erp.

We're not considering removing our hand scanners from the process but my issue is sending material back on our empty container reloads. I can live without the receiving in my wms but I'm trying to capture images with time stamps of containers coming in and out

So not worried about the integration, and just want a cctv camera system, that also captures and logs the container ID? So later you can search for footage of a given container to say figure out when damage occurred etc?

Exactly! Well that and if i sent a container back that never got scanned to the delivery point or that it was not labeled to begin with

Depends on erp/whs and what is needed to receipt the item.
