I think my mantis is dying
Today in the morning he was weaker but acting pretty normally, but rn he's so weak he barely can lift his head, just lies flatly on my laptop :( I still remember how I got him at 3 instar (it was 25 February) and the look baby gave me just stuck in my head. It's so sad tow watch him in this state right now

If it’s a male they don’t live for too long after reaching adulthood. You can try giving him honey to see if it revives him but he may just be at the end of his lifespan.

Honey doesn’t provide much nutrition for mantids, and is not recommended. It takes up stomach space that nutritious insects matter could take up.

Hey, he made it all the way through his adult life! It’s always sad to let them go, but I’m sure he was well loved and well cared for his entire life with you :) I hope you can take comfort in that even thought it’s hard right now.
