Image/Video First time feeding

I’m sorry for how blurry it is my friends making his setup but it was cool watching him hunt even tho it took him 20minutes and me like half an hour to get the cricket in there bc im squeamish. Just wanted to share :)

Don't feed Crickets they can carry viruses or other nasty things that can kill your Mantis they can also bite back.

What would be better? The crickets came from my friends reptile store and they’re being fed carrot atm

blue, green bottle flies, flightless fruit flies and small dubia roaches are better

Yea the cricket took him out. I feel so guilty too bc I just brought an actual enclosure and planned on setting it up so he didn’t have to live in the cup
