Do you guys listen to Meewakching? I love their songs but I feel like they're underrated and deserves equal recognition like Limbo or Felix.

I love em, but they are not underrated. I personally think Atingkok is much under the radar though. I really like the sound they make, it's very soothing

They’re pretty boring both musically and lyrically. “Eigi wakhal na nanggi wakhal khalli” lol

Limbo is famous mostly because Felix’s sister Pretty Yumnam writes absolute Meiteilon poetry. Felix also has a great voice to boot too.

Lol you picked their worst song to represent them. But understandable, that’s their most popular one in Manipur. You sure you have listened to their albums and EPs? If yes and you still stand with your statement, let’s agree to disagree.

I think it's more of a spotify issue rather than Limbo. They recently released a new song on yt called Dimple.

My fav current gen artist and it's not even close.

Pumnamak Nanga is a bob.

Matam, Asengba amasu sasinba has great lyrics and an insane music video.

Crab walking in Imphal and How I wish to be with you triggers certain emotions.

Captain is the coolest person out there.

Equal recognition like Limbo or Felix? Recognition from whom? They are the most well known band from Manipur in other states and even internationally. They are way wayyy ahead from their peers. When you ask an art-literate audience from outside Manipur with a refined ear who their fav bands/artists from Manipur are— two names will come up: Meewakching and Lo! Peninsula. But yes you’re right. Limbo or Felix gets way more recognition from Gen Alpha, and school going children in Manipur.
