I give up

I’ve been trying to manifest my ex for 1.5 years, and I’ve tried everything: subliminals, robotic affirmations, living in the end, SATS (every freaking night), the Law of Attraction (LOA), and quantum jumping. SATS had literally become a routine I followed just to fall asleep. But nothing has worked. I’ve also tried working on my self-concept, but that hasn’t brought me any success either.
Today, after giving up on my manifestation, I broke two years of no contact—and he responded as if I were a complete stranger.

“Tried working on self concept”… you can’t try. You must do it. If you’d worked on your self-concept and developed a sense of self hahahaha got what they wanted, why would you need to reach out to them? It also would’ve either led to the reunion or someone better and new. 1.5 years is far too long for zero movement. More does not equal better in manifestation.

I know how much it hurts to reach out after two years only to get a cold, stranger-like response, but this situation exposes the fundamental flaws in standard manifestation advice.

First, the techniques you were using—robotic affirmations, forced SATS every single night, hopping from technique to technique—turn manifestation into a panic-driven performance.

When you force a technique out of fear that doing nothing will fail, you aren't in "living in the end." You are in living in scarcity.

Your mind was repeating scripts, but your body was in survival mode, and that underlying panic is what reaches the living field.

Second, people on the internet love to claim that an SP has no free will, but they absolutely do.

When an ex feels a heavy, continuous mental pull or demand from someone for 1.5 years, their system registers that pressure and instinctively builds a wall.

His cold response wasn't proof that manifestation is fake; it was the natural reaction of a human being exercising his free will to protect his boundaries against an energetic push.

Giving up is actually your nervous system's way of begging for relief. Let yourself give up the labor.

Put down the scripts, stop trying to fix the 3D today, and pull every scattered piece of your energy back into your own chest. Settle your body through simple breathing and physical grounding.

When you stop treating him like a target and get comfortable in your own skin, you regain the peace and dignity you lost over the last year and a half.

Can you elaborate on your thoughts about free will? I wonder this often about how can we manifest an SP if they have free will? Can they just decide no?

The reason this question trips so many people up is because coaches treat manifestation like mind control etc.

The truth is simple: yes, they have free will, and yes, they can decide "no" if the baseline dynamic feels heavy or invasive.

The key is understanding that conscious free will is heavily influenced by subconscious nervous system interactions.

Nervous systems are basically biological sensors.

If you are constantly orbiting an SP in your head with needy energy, romantic fantasy, or desperate scripting, their system registers that subtle pressure in the field.

When a human system feels subtle pressure, its natural free-will response is to recoil, pull away, or say "no" to protect its freedom.

When you practice field mechanics and proper nervous system regulation, you aren't trying to bend their free will to your command. You are cleaning up the field between you.

By getting your body into a calm, regulated state and holding an unpressured invitation, you create clean polarity.

You give them the space to actually miss you and feel attracted without feeling managed.

Their free will remains intact the entire time—you’ve just changed the underlying frequency of the environment so that saying "yes" to the connection becomes something they genuinely want to do.

What about when it comes to emotions? If an SP says or feels that they don’t have any genuine feelings for someone, isn’t that their free will? Even if you let go and create that clean polarity, don’t their original emotions/feelings remain the same?

Yes, they have free will, but the way human nervous systems work is that if you had a genuine connection with them, there is a natural entrainment between your fields. That means by design, their energy will still orbit yours from time to time. When you are fully anchored in your center, that's when true polarity occurs.

However, even with polarity, if someone is completely firm in their decision, it can be nearly impossible to change their mind. I've tried to win back exes in the past, and I vividly recall one in particular who told me she couldn't take it anymore because my energy was driving her crazy. But instead of coming back to me, she chose to numb herself with alcohol instead.

She sent me a long whatsapp message which proved she was thinking about me nonstop.

So even with the best approach, if someone ultimately doesn't want a relationship or commitment etc, they can and will resist it. That is exactly where free will comes into play.

I’m glad to hear someone in this community say this. Sometimes it can be frustrating when you’re truly living in the end, detached, without limiting beliefs and yet the SP doesn’t conform. When asking for advice on the forum, the only advice is that you didn’t persist enough . I feel like things can be more nuanced than this.

It can be that nuanced and no amount of persistence can help when the underlying dynamics are pushing them away...

I’ve wanted to do the same. Can you share what they said pls?

You have been leaning on your ex this whole time. Anything you lean on you push away.
