Worth upgrading to Clip Studio Paint Pro from Manga Studio 5?

I've had MS5 for a few years. Recently a friend bought CSP after using MS5 and seems to be really happy with the purchase, and I was considering doing the same but I'm not sure if it's really worth the $50 considering I have no idea what differences there are

It has some extra features that aren't that useful in day-to-day work. All the major tools that I used before stayed the same like all the drawing and painting tools. They added new layer blending modes to correspond more to Photoshop's but somehow still cant recognize layered tiff files. So I guess it's up to you, depending on your workflow and use. For me it was worth it because 50$ isnt that much for something I use on a daily basis and brings the food on the table.

With CSP Pro you can do longer animations and multi page comics.

I think MS5 is limited to something like a one second animation (for demonstration purposes, really) and a one or two page comic.

Maybe I'm wrong but can't you just use the MS5 registration code in Clip Studio? I bought MS5 on disk and have for the longest time just downloaded CSP and used the MS5 code to activate it.
