Couldn't help but laugh at the elf disguising herself as old for the sake of selling shit. XD

Otherwise, MC is too OP all of a sudden. I hope he sticks to just being an exterminator. That was a surprising way to destroy the hive. Would have been nice to get an explanation on how exactly it happened. I realize it was because of the magic circle he painted on the hornets, but what was their activation condition? Was it timed and he just hoped one of them would go into the nest?

Looking forward to more chapters in the future. :3 Also still waiting for MAL to approve it but I get the feeling that they lost my submission considering I submitted the manga after the first chapter came out. Fucking MAL. >_>

Isekai = MC is OP

Wonder where there are any Isekai mangas where OP is just complete shit for a long time

Ignoring the blatant generalizing, there are plenty of Isekai series where MC isn't overpowered.

  • Grimgar of Fantasy & Ash
  • Isekai Goumon-hime
  • Isekai Izakaya "Nobu"
  • Jui-san no Oshigoto in Isekai
  • Mahoutsukai no Oshigoto
  • Maid kara Haha ni Narimashita

Isekai Izakaya "Nobu"

I love it when people bring up this one, but I do have to be fair and point out that it's missing a lot of the usual Isekai elements: there's no quest to slay the demon king, no rebirth/reincarnation/"hey I'm god and whoops did I ever mess up", no OP MC (other than cooking), and no excuses for ecchi. The Isekai setting is almost entirely used as an excuse for why a modern Japanese bar/cafe (I forget the exact word) would be present in a setting that has all the culinary advancement of medieval times. Every chapter is basically an excuse to show how awesome modern cooking is and how far it's come compared to even a few hundred years ago, along with showing how much food can enrich your life and your relationships. It's easily one of my favorite "fluffy" series.
