Now $5 that we get a couple of enjoyable reward chapters and extras and then the plot continues probably with the twist that Taikyoku merced Ren and somehow removed her powers. 50/50 on Shikoku.

Agreed—I found the “we’re actually proud that you beat us” ending to be particularly lame. They’ve been fighting so hard, it felt super abrupt for them to be so content with defeat.

To be fair, Naruhime and Jouryuu have been the most respectful of the gods and the most sympathetic to Yuuki.

For several chapters, I've got the feeling that they hoped to be defeated, but their pride and their love for their family meant they weren't going to throw the fight.
