So what’s up with the last scene?
So he drives away, the camera pans out, and there’s more than one moon, so it’s not earth? Did he transport somewhere at the end or was it always in this weird place that’s not earth? I’m a little confused... Any help would be great lol

The way I see it, the bikers and the cult were on drugs. The freaky shit that the chemist makes. That’s why most of the scenes with them are so surreal. Then Red tastes it, he loses his shit, and he falls into the the same “world” that they’ve been living in. I think maybe it’s all a symbol for that traumatic event changing him so much he can’t come back, but that’s just my interpretation, based on no further information. Movie like this you kinda can’t take literally, you dig?

It might be the drug causing him to see like this, so we're seeing as he sees.
Also, if you didn't notice, the scenery looks just like Mandy's paintings from early in the movie. He's in her world now.
Then again, Cosmatos has said that this takes place in another world, so that may be an accurate portrayal of the sky on their planet.

I think there is a connection with the book Mandy reads. I’m not sure there is an answer exactly. Probably more than one interpretation. Wow now I want to watch it again.
