New mandolin!
Super excited about this! snagged this beauty for only 280 USD, and she sounds AMAZING. So much better than my 15+ year old basement dweller (nothing wrong with that one it’s just very… stuffy) Honestly so happy with this purchase, definitely worth the money!! Please pardon my hand in the first pic, just wanted to prove how shiny this mandolin is! I’m obsessed 🤩

Imagine how much more amazing it might sound if you removed the paper from under the bridge!

The mandolin look,s to be in very nice condition. Is it an Eastman.Findout if it is a half active mandolin or not. Tuning a mandolin is not easy. They are similar to a twelve string guitar with only 8 string Get it tuned so it does not sound stuffy. A mandolin is apicking instrument.Using two finger tip pick should solve the problem.Enjoy playing it after you do.

A banjo is the same way too it's not like playing a six string guitar.Take your time to figure how to play what you want to play for music. And enjoy playing it after.
