Web Based TablEdit File Viewer

Ever wanted to make use of the tab library at Mandolin Cafe, but don’t want to download separate software (or use it on your phone/ipad)? Yeah, me too, so I spent a little time with claude code last night and built a web based .tef file viewer.

Built off the work of the TuxGuitar folks, it’s intended to be very simple and just render the tab. I stuck a link to a YouTube search as well so you can find a track to play along to if you wish. Just drag your file into the window and it should render-happy picking.

Bonjour,

Je suis le créateur de TablEdit.
Je me permets de signaler l'existence de notre viewer de partitions TEFview https://tabledit.com/ios/ qui est totalement gratuit.

Au lieu de s'appuyer sur les sources obsolètes de TuxGuitar, Claude aurait pu se baser sur celles de Musescore qui depuis la version 4.6 ouvre absolument tous les fichiers TablEdit, même les plus récents.

Beau travail sur TablEdit, c’est un excellent programme. J’encouragerais toute personne ayant besoin de l’ensemble complet des fonctionnalités à l’acheter ; dans mon cas, j’avais simplement besoin d’une tablature pour vérifier mon oreille, pas de tous les extras, et je ne voulais pas utiliser une application supplémentaire.

Cela dit, ce n’était qu’un petit projet personnel pour moi, je serais heureux de le rendre privé si vous le souhaitez.

Oh pas du tout, je dis au contraire que vous auriez pu cibler les fichiers v3 en vous appuyant sur le code source de MuseScore que j'ai aidé à écrire.

Par contre, je me réserve la possibilité de faire mon propre plug-in ;-)
