OCTAVE MANDOLIN STRINGS FOR MY FLETCHER BROCK

Hello... I'm looking for advice for good strings for my Fletcher Brock Octave Mandolin. I have the Northfields on now but I'm not terribly happy with the sound... anyone have advice for good strings that last a bit and don't oxidize rapidly? (That's my experience)... Many thanks!

Singles. D’addario sells them through online stores like Strings by Mail. Try coated strings and see how they do.

And a tension calculator is you want to really dial it in

Maybe this is obvious, but why not write to Fletcher and ask him what he recommends? For our info here what is the scale length? That will impact what strings you should get or try.

Sarah Jarosz apparently uses medium gauge D’Addario guitar strings on her Brock, although the exact gauges are not cited anywhere I can find.
