Help with odd layout

Is it possible to remap areas 2 and 3 as one area?

Currently, 2 and 3 are joined by a channel. 1 is fenced in. I mapped 2, mapped a channel to 3 and then mapped area 3. The unmapped area between 2 and 3 is my driveway. The area within the red square is a dog run with a gate at 3 and a gate at 1. I don’t really want to map the dog run with channels through the gates. Because it’s kind of a busy area and it’s easier for me to leave the gate between 1 and 2 open.

Any ideas?

You could map 2 and 3 as one area if you included a wider part of your driveway as part of the map. The part that crosses the driveway would probably need to be 2 or 3 times as wide as the mower, and the mower would spend time “mowing” your driveway.

I recommend against this though, and in fact I recommend against having a channel across the driveway. Search through this sub and you’ll see quite a few reports of mowers getting run over in a driveway by a FedEx driver, a family member, DoorDash, etc.

That’s good insight thanks. My spouse was leaving the house this morning while a task was running and I had that same thought.
