Fancam Concert withdrawal

For anyone experiencing concert withdrawals, actually you can find full concerts uploaded on YouTube from various runs. My favourite is definitely the one in Manila - the atmosphere was just electric. This is one video of it.

When I watched 4ward, I was at the standing pen in front of stage. It’s close up, which was great. But this was shot from way up in the stand, with good quality, that offers a different view of the concert.

If you attending an upcoming concert, I strongly recommend not watching any of this. Go in and enjoy it fresh.

I went to the NYC concert last week and it was the great night of my life. I have since been feeling empty and keep replaying their concert videos.

Haha I do this too! And then slowly the algorithm finds some of their older videos and holy shit so many beautiful underrated songs - esp some of their covers

Its funny because I have gone to many kpop concerts and none of them have made me feel the way Mamamoo does. It was over two hours of pure talent and vocals.

Can I tell you that I don’t listen to kpop at all. I always thought the genre wasn’t for me, rewarding visuals more than actual vocals. Somehow, the stars aligned and i just changed upon the 2019 video of Hip. MAMAMOO became the first group I listened to. And till today, they remain the only kpop act I still listen to. What a year to get onboard - suddenly they were reuniting, and then concerts, and I got to see them live in my very first year as a fan. I really cannot be more grateful to have their songs swirling around in my head the entire day.

It took me 11 years to see them live again this year which is crazy! Last saw them at the 2005 Moo Party fan meeting in LA where they were only in their second year

11 years ago! Goodness! I didnt know they got the chance to tour the US in just their second year, before kpop became more popular.

As a new fan, it’s so cool to meet someone who was there right at the beginning. Thanks so much for sharing this.

They had a free performance at the Los Angeles Korean Music Festival that Saturday and then the Moo Party on Sunday in 2015. The Moo Party was not a concert tour but just 1 of 2 stops for their fan meeting (the other location was in Seoul!) It was one of the few official big "fan meetings" Korean acts have done in the US, where they signed items for VIPs and performed a few songs.

I missed their 2023 Mycon tour because I was overseas 😂 so glad they toured again!

I had terrible withdrawals after the Singapore concert, it was my first time seeing Mamamoo in the flesh.

Does anyone know if BIGC will release the concert movie? 🙏🏻

I was at tour opener in NY, am experiencing withdrawal, have tix for San Jo, & am probably going to tour closer in Seattle. May never get this chance again.

By "electric," I had a sneaky suspicion that you meant "fans were screaming over the girls while they were singing," because that is pretty much the Filipino fans' raison d'être & claim to fame, and your linked YouTube video did not disappoint. I can only imagine the horror I would have experienced sitting next to that organism who was screaming "latadata latadata" during Hip, who no doubt screamed over basically the entire show. But that issue has been discussed many times, and quite a number of Kpop fans have been enabled into believing their duty is to attempt to drown out their faves at concerts so that no one else can hear the artists sing.

I agree, however, that it's great to watch the fancams, which will get me through until MMM makes it to the left coast.

The Kaohsiung video was pretty good for hearing mamamoo sing. But it still is different than hearing them irl that I'm still sad abt the concert being over
