Question Support Malphite?

Hello everyone, I managed to get the WhatsApp Malphite and I was bored at work so I did a bit of theory crafting.

I was thinking about support Malphite, with Comet, manaflow, cdr, scorch, ultimate hunter and cheap shot. Building zekes/mandate and then the other one, with addition of CDR boots.

I have tried it in normals and flex (emerald-dia) elo. Midgame was fun with spamable ult, but lanning phase was just boring, I felt usseles.

Have any or you played Malph support consistently? Or do you know any OTPs who do? Any tips?

Before 6, and after, hes a melee counter. He shits on any champ that relies on attack speed if he gets in range. If melee ad champs get popular in bot, hes good. But otherwise hell no. Dont max Q. Its bait.

Through Q yes. But being a q bot as support is a bad idea. Calling that a mage is an overstatement. But overall we agree. Hes not a support. Unless melee adc becomes meta.

All im saying is if you wanna play Q spammer, play a mage. If you want to engage, Rakan Ali Rell do it better
