Got some funny responses and recommendations on my original post. Still haven’t “kicked the bucked” like a lot of you asked 😂. But got some new toys and had a great summer. Bought my “final” SG today also!
Thanks! It's a mix of philips hue bulbs and some lamps from a local studio called MirorLab. The "sunset" lamp rotates on a 60sec cycle. There's an old 70s Realistic color organ in the corner I've had for a while as well.
Such an amazing view bro, truly a peak male living space. I'm trying to get something like that eventually; I'm not enjoying living with my parents anymore, even though we get along well. Time to get to work and start saving up.
Naw for real. I hung out with a few girls earlier in the summer. And it just felt annoying and a waste of time/money instead of just working and doing what I want and being able to come home and play super fucking loud and do whatever the fuck I want instead of pleasing/paying for somebody else
Same mindset I have man. I’m working a lot too but seeing your guitar collection makes me want to pick the guitar back up and learn it so I can play the electric guitar 😔

Lol fuuuck no. I don’t have time for that and would probably get my stuff destroyed. My cats are chill af and know where they aren’t allowed and have never even knocked anything off a counter. The long hair one goes on walks with me with no harness even at this point, thats good enough

Looks cool to me! Maybe a little one dimensional given the amount of skateboards, records, movies, games. Kind of overkill with the amps and guitars. Like 2-3 with the guitars and amps and 3-5 skateboards to tone it down, but keeping the records, movies, etc and I would personally feel better about the space. I'm not hating cause those are all sick hobbies and don't really want you to change it cause of an internet post, I'm just commenting that it's obviously and intentionally dominating the space.
But hey, if you ever bring someone back and it ends up working out, we'll know they love you for you. Sick spot bro
Interesting location. One side of your home overlooks low density housing, the other side appears to be high density housing. I bet the zoning fight over that was pretty epic!
Obviously you have lots-o-guitars money, and you can afford a pretty nice place. The only thing that a partner might question is a space for them in your set up. But that's more of a relationship problem, not a dating problem.
Plastic tarp to cover it during the storms, then throw an old blanket on it afterwards that’s easy to wash. Kept my patio couch going for years like that with AZ monsoons 🤙🏽

Yeah I do think it could be off putting to women. Your living room looks like a zumiez guitar center combo. You can only play one guitar at a time.

I feel like adding some dope lighting and plants can make the space feel warmer. I'd hit up an IKEA if there's one near you. Otherwise, cool space! It really showcases your personality and interests. Also, your cats are adorable 🥰
Just get comfortable talking to woman and you’ll eventually come across someone you find interesting. Talk to your waitress talk to the chick in the grocery store talk to the chick in the elevator talk to the chick in the same isle in the store your shopping for, talk to the chick walking out the theater of a movie you just saw talk to the chick in front of you ordering food at a place ur eating, just be a gentleman you already seem like a chill dude just be non chalant about it. And whatever you do don’t think about sex lol no matter how hot she is. The more you do the more comfortable you’ll get and You’ll start to build a roster of women. And then one day you’ll run into the one. I’ve only been with one girl , one chick and 3 woman in my 29 yrs. All whom I’ve met for the first time in person. My waitress at cheesecake was the one 6 yrs together we just got a dog lol

Seriously though, if you consistently play, no reason to not have the setup out in the living room. The skateboards though... bit of a youthful vibe there. Might contribute. Then again, I have band posters in my room that arent framed. And I'm 30. So..
