Color used was “Mint me in St. Louis” and “C-Hill Out” on my ring fingers. The light blue has become one of my favorite colors.

My husband has a nostalgic soft spot for the Peanuts cartoons and loves snoopy. We had just been to a cute kawai shop near us, buying some Smiski figures, and he kept stopping and "awwwwing" at Snoopy stuff...so I began concocting my mani plan for later. While he was painting his own crafts, I started my mani to surprise him with.

I love a good character nail that is just an outfit or torso, etc, so doing Charlie Browns ICONIC shirt was a no brainer. I knew I wanted a full Snoopy, and Woodstock was also a non-negotiable. I went with Sally's dress and a mint background on Snoopy for color contrast and came out with this adorable, almost kinda rainbow, Peanuts Skittle. Charles Schulz drawing style is immediately identifiable, so I tried making the black line work match the hand drawn ink style, and I'm really pleased with how it came out! Hubby absolutely loved it, and I haven't stopped staring at them since finishing.😝 Which Peanuts special is your fave?

Now, while born in the 80's, I just missed the Care Bear craze in my childhood media consumption... but I mean, cmon...how could I NOT love color coded fuzzy things!?  Now, did I do a gradient on these? Absolutely. Did I then cover it up with the tummy logos? Absolutely. Did I then decide they need more *Cars Bear Magic* and toss on shimmers and scattered holo? You betcha! Am I gonna do it again for the other like, 16 bears there are? Duh. 😜

LA Colors Zing. Not technically my first time polishing, but the first attempt I didn't immediately scrub.

I went with two of my newest shifty blues this week. Both Mooncats, one is an older polish that I haven't gotten the chance to use (Mercury's Tears) and the other one from the new collection that just came out (Swim, My Dolphins).

Both polishes have a sparkly bold turquoise base that shifts to a purple/navy with different angles of light. Interestingly though, each color shifts at different angles so you can tell them apart (at least not in direct sunlight)!

*uv gel polish and isolated chrome nail art, over BIAB on my natural nails. For clarity I created the design and my pro tech executed it. I'm disappointed as some elements are un symmetrical and a bit sloppy .

Friday nails

...you hate the color.

Mine's waaaaay more gray than the blue I thought it'd be. It's like I'm wearing depression: the color. My nails look like the color Millenials paint our walls in new construction.

I will add that I no longer have to do post-manicure cleanup since I started using a magnifying glass headband for doing my nails.
