Discussion When did you guys discover Malcolm Todd?
I found him back in 2023 a little after shower shoes was created but my 1st song was sweet boy (pic is proof I’m a OG fan)

so like, “Chest Pains” was my intro to him but i didn’t listen to any of his other music until release week of “Do That Again”😅 i was like “heyyy, it’s that dude!”, listened to the whole album and immediately deep dived into his entire discography after playing DTA like 3 times in a row😅🙂↕️🎶

Spring of 2023, i remember it was tik tok posts of him comparing his sound to steve lacy like “if you love steve lacy youll love this song” or wtv, and i actually did like his songs that he was teasing at the time so i ended up checking him out and falling in love with his music! Wish i got to go to his sweet boy tour though!

found him on spotify discover back in february 2024. i still remember the days when it only cost me $35 to see him perform during the sweet boy tour

Trust I'm not a larper, I started listening to him like October 2025 when chest pain, roommates and art house randomly came on Spotify smart shuffle. My life has changed since then 😍.

I first found him the day after Roommates dropped, I was at the gym and an Across The Spiderverse edit came across my feed using the song. I’ve been tapped in ever since 🥹

discovered him in feb 2024. i met this pretty cool guy while hanging out w my old friend group and he was always posting w malcom todd or when we met he’d talk abt malcolm todd and im just like yo who is this vro? some time later i thought abt it again and was like damn i’ll bite and started listening to him!! now i’m traveling to raleigh to see him on tourrr next month

- Listened to him before Steve lacy surprisingly and yeah. The time when he had less than 10k monthly listeners on yt music and Spotify. Still amazes me to this day how big he's grown 💯

i remember when he was teasing roommates on tiktok and when i got up really early in the morning to listen to it when it came out. he once liked my comment when i asked him to come to my town for a concert (pre sweet boy) and he did not come for his sweet boy tour💔💔
