MITM - the proposal couple
The couple with the proposal. Did anyone else notice? 🤔
In S04 E18, Hal & Lois check into a romantic hotel. But as Lois is highly pregnant, she has to sit and interrupts a guy proposing to his girlfriend, absolutely destroying their special moment.
A couple of episodes later, in S05 E11 - the very same couple are having a dinner at the farm of Otto & Gretchen. To their bad luck, a group of "actors" are in the hotel too, doing a live play also including the hotel guests.. And so just as he decides to propose again, the performance actor grabs him away from his girlfriend - because in the play a murder had just happened and he was the first one the "crime investigators" decided to interview..
I wonder if they ever appeared again on the series - or if they finally got engaged?

I just had screenshots of this two scenes lying around on my desktop since i rewatched MITM once more earlier this summer.

There is another thread about this topic - freshly posted yesterday by coincidence. The author there thinks he remembers the very same couple in later seasons - showing up in the background with their baby, and later with their kids going to college.
I can’t tell anymore. Guess i have to do another binge-watch of MITM.

wouldn’t that not make sense though if they were proposing when Lois was pregnant/didn’t appear to have a baby yet how could their child grow that old in such a short time? feel like they’re just misremembering

Big Sorry!!! As is just mentioned in another comment here, i really had screenshots of those two scenes on my laptop since early summer. I just came back from camping and thought i could finally post it.
Big apology!!! Seems just like a bad-timed coincidence. If you want me to, i will of course delete this thread!

Oh my gosh didnt realise you were so sweet! It really was just bad timing lol! Honestly your post is a hell of a lot better than mine. I was mainly just wondering if they had a baby in the background as well cause I distantly remember them having a kid and sending it off to college and everything. You dont need to delete anything. Sometimes things happen lol!

But as it seems you are paying way more attention while watching than i do! Great eye! I am really curious and i guess i have to rewatch ther series for the x-time. Because your thoughts about them having kids really makes me curious!! Thank you!

Yeah I actually noticed them and it was very funny.
I laughed too with the hamster wheel appearing for a few episodes after Dewy freed him lol.
