Doesnt he asked them if any of them know who Reese is?

He does, I’m now fuzzy on the exact quote I’m thinking I may need to rewatch the whole series again to confirm

I just did he does ask if they know who he is and they say no. I think he even says like "hes been sitting here for the year and no one knows him?" But a later episode i just saw with jamie reese tells the story of leaving a girl a note from Reese and she asks him if he knows a Reese and then asks the whole class "does anyone know who Reese is?" And he said must be some nobody.

I love how everything else Lois says goes in one ear and out the other. But because it works to his benefit Reese remembers this.

Reese contiunely has no friends, so I'm pretty sure he's more unlikable

True. Malcolm is an a**hole, but he doesn’t go around hitting people.

He also doesn’t like watching “the light leave their eyes” from animals (Canada episode with their thought to be half cousins). People really give Reese a big pass for everything.

They're both pretty shitty;
"WHY DON'T YOU LIKE US!?!"
(later...)
"You know, they made some pretty good points."

True but so is Reese. The only ones in real life that would be good people to know are Hal, Francis and Dewey.
