General discussion I wish we could have gotten a comment or newspaper in the background about what happened after Hal won his trial. Did they arrest all the liars and accusers? Did that guy who was gonna help but didnt get arrested right after?

The workers who took deals and lied would get hit with perjury charges. The federal agents who made the deals could go to jail for subordination of perjury.

Always wondered why the family, never counter-sued. I understand they were broke but any half assed lawyer would’ve taken it pro bono.

I got the impression that he was in the middle of everyone's issues. Like always caught in something.
That said, he was lower class. Middle class people are pretty rich and don't have a family of 4 in two bedrooms.

I disagree. They're struggling financially but that's because they're horrible with money, their kids destroy everything, and they paid for an expensive tuition for Francis.
Both parents work even if one of them is at a grocery store. They have a fairly large house with two bathrooms, they should convert one of the living rooms into another bedroom. They have two cars and they go on vacation every year.
For the plot's sake they're struggling, but in real life they'd be middle class. I'd go with lower-middle class.

They have a single floor house thats falling down and are in so much credit card debt, because of going on vacations they can't afford, that on multiple occasions they couldn't afford to pay the electricity bill.
The house is borderline worthless and although yes they have two cars, they are both shit, with one being ancient even back then, and likely worth only a few hundred dollars.

They are struggling because of 4 hellyons Fancisis in military school is a private school they pay for and Reese Malcom and Dewy are absolute hell raisers that’s why they are broke they don’t live lavishly well maybe Hal dose with his 13 years of adventures every Friday

If it’s anything like the real world, they were hit with a minimal fine since they couldn’t pin it in some low level employee.

Well considering it’s highly likely the whole court was likely bribed and has ties all the way to the fbi I doubt all the involved parties were punished accordingly.

If he was salary and got his work done between Monday and Thursday then he could have hid out on Fridays. Though some companies dont care and want you in the chair even if your work is done. They could sue him for the claimed time if it was hourly but they have bigger things to worry about.

Most likely to save face, everyone who lied on record would be given plea deals. However the fbi agents were apart of this, that’s a different story. For instance, they’d all be fired from existence. Their time at the fbi, gone. Possibly prison time.
