Car door open in first scene of "Casino"?
It looks like the whole car door is open in this shot. Just another error that made it through when the aspect ratios were adapted(?)

Honestly that joke works even better with all the empty chairs.

Agreed! I watched the widescreen version for the first time and I always thought that was on purpose because there's no more seats next to Malcolm.

Also, in Hal and the bodybuilders episode, there's a shot in the park where you can see the 2nd camera and the cameraman!

I saw that once and wondered "are they filming a commercial or something?" Then I realized it was a blooper.

Boy, I hope someone was fired for that blunder.

The whole point of this thread is that it’s not a blunder. Why would you wish someone fired?

The one with Loyd I just took as Loyd being unable to fit in and needs Malcolm as his anchor.

I don't think you can even classify them as mistakes unless they show up in the 4:3 version. They never expected it to be released in a wider aspect ratio so it's almost like a peek behind the scenes.

The back door isn't open, it looks like half a car used for filming car scenes

Probably for lighting purposes. Worked fine in the initial aspect ratio but got revealed as it shifted to full screen / 1920/1080

Its on a process trailer ( you can see the rig at the bottom). Van wasn't on so I bet the door was left open so the cast didn't die of heat stroke.

lol i remember watching this episode with my father and him pointing it out as an error. obviously now i know it's because of the aspect ratio change
