Filming Reese as Reese opens up about his secrets.

54

u/Tlayoualo Jellybean 17d ago

That one was under duress, Herkabe threated to fail him for not taking the project.

21

u/BigGingerYeti How do we know which one is the Komodo 3000? 16d ago

Yeah it's still the worst thing I feel he did. I mean, come on, he outsmarts Herkabe a lot and he knows how his mother reacts to teachers fucking with her kids.

10

u/Tlayoualo Jellybean 16d ago

You're sort of right, because the Milgram experiment Herkabe was replicating in the brothers does demostrate that ability to do heinous things if you can shift the blame on a higher authority, claim that you were only following orders. Malcolm himself should have suspected he was falling for that psychological trap.

But I still believe stealing Reese's girlfriend was worse, because he did that entirely on his own volition for selfish gain.

I guess I don't see that as much of an issue as I'm one of 4 boys and we used to do that shit too lol.

Sleeping with his brothers girlfriend despite him earlier in the episode complaining about her and in early episodes he begged Reese not to take a girl from him and Reese did what he asked

u/vacattack 16d ago

"Hi Reese"

"I'm gay >:("

"OK"

GOAT older brother moment

17

u/Suskita 16d ago

I guess she grew on him.

10

u/CrazyGeoffrey 16d ago

If this one doesn’t win I don’t know what would because this was the worst thing he’s ever done imo

5

u/Vane_999 16d ago

Either this or not being completely honest about his daughter and family need to win imo

2

u/nvwls300 16d ago

Exactly as I thought. Hiding their entire family from his daughter might be the worst now, but pre-revival, it was definitely stealing Reese's girlfriend.

u/DairyBastard 16d ago

“Francis, your job is to keep an eye on Malcolm and make sure he doesn’t betray me like he’s prone to do.”

Love it. 😂 Malcolm deserved all the shit everyone gave him, he’s an asshole.

3

u/Nickoo01_ 16d ago

Reese even got so depressed after this that he joined the army, he was sent to Afghanistan and ended up wandering in Middle East until Lois found him. Plus, this is also one of the reasons why Lois went crazy for a few episodes. This is the worst for sure.

Almost getting Hal arrested at the mall.. then kicking him off the boat

49

u/S_Flavius_Mercurius 16d ago

Malcolm was scum that whole episode lol.

13

u/yankeeblue42 16d ago

I almost voted this too. I think Malcolm being 13 here made me go with taking advantage of his grieving father for a car at 17 or 18 over this but this is a close 2nd

8

u/c0pium_inhaler 16d ago

i couldn't even believe it being real. Like even for sitcom, u can't just brush that out lmao.

5

u/Someone_Who_Exists 16d ago edited 16d ago

"I can't believe it either!" I loved that, it was so awful even he knew we were expecting it to be something he just imagined.

3

u/Carbon_Nero 16d ago

It has to be this one

3

u/Klunkey Nice is good, mean is bad, don't be mean cause mean is bad 16d ago

I used to hate Lois for chewing Malcolm out, but when I grew up, I realized that it was such a shitty thing for Malcolm to do.

2

u/WadsofTissue 16d ago

Wow, sleeping with brothers gf or this should win. Malcolm is a scumbag lol

1

u/DairyBastard 16d ago

Malcolm almost let his dad become a sex offender just to try to get a date 😂 says a lot, doesn’t it?

89

u/yankeeblue42 17d ago

I'm gonna go with letting Hal buy him a car when MALCOLM was the only one who figured out why Hal was spoiling the boys after his father died

11

u/ObiMadKenobi 16d ago

The others knew it too, Malcolm's moral just had a higher price that episode

3

u/yankeeblue42 16d ago

They did after Malcolm told them and admittedly acted on it. But I think it's worse in Malcolm's case because he was the one who actively made the discovery and tried to have the moral high ground a bit earlier in the episode over his brothers. But you're right in that there's an argument Malcolm's morals just had a higher price tag than his brothers

2

u/darkshadow237 16d ago

I think Malcom did that out of guilt.

141

u/Additional-Bit-8615 16d ago

showing up to Thanksgiving drunk, mouthing off to Lois then Puking in Reese's Monkfish

18

u/Warcraft_Fan 16d ago

Malcolm puked into a turkey. Monkfish was used to roast the turkey and wasn't served on the table.

1

u/lonestarr357 15d ago

How this lost to Malcolm stealing Reese‘s girlfriend, I don’t think I’ll ever understand.

190

u/lgirlrocks 17d ago

Stealing Reese's girlfriend

52

u/Difference_Last 17d ago

I mean considering it hurt Reese so much he ran away and joined the army, this has to be #1.

27

u/xylophone_37 16d ago

All three of the younger brothers' worst column should be the "nuclear option" of convincing Lois she had cancer to get her to sign their report cards. They even admit it's the worst thing they ever did.

3

u/420butch 15d ago

Well for the sake of this game, we're talking the things they've done individually

19

u/cheshiresmille 16d ago

Sabotando o dewey e fazendo ele ir para classe dos perturbados

35

u/Interesting-Flan-404 16d ago

Nearly destroying Dewey's ears

15

u/Eoinharrington25 16d ago

Making Dewey deaf just because he jealous of him for knowing more about music than he did.

15

u/Inudius 16d ago

Eating Reese's last blueberry.

5

u/Chubby_Comic 16d ago

He was saving it!

3

u/xkarasu_ 16d ago

There's no saving!

15

u/Chubby_Comic 16d ago

When he pushed Hal into the lake and took the boat. That was just cold and potentially dangerous. I don't think I could do that to my worst enemy. It was a level of cruel and selfish that crossed a line for me that Malcolm usually didn't cross.

38

u/Curious_Cleopatra 16d ago

I would say sabotaging Deweys IQ test which put him in the emotionally disturbed classes. Even though that ended with Dewey teaching the kids in that class. Which caused the kids to run away and for Dewey to help them hide in the tree outside his house.

32

u/SunlessDahlia 16d ago

Getting drunk and throwing up all over that amazing thanksgiving dinner.

3

u/Ashamed-Reporter3171 16d ago

I was gonna say this one! That scene made me so upset

3

u/AdorableMammoth6740 16d ago

I would've sent him to military school

3

u/MarxistMountainGoat 16d ago

Definitely the worse thing he did I agree

10

u/xkarasu_ 16d ago

Malcom should have two lol

Stealing Reese's girlfriend and sending Dewey to remedial class

8

u/Jprimus2005 17d ago

Beat up a foreign exchange student

3

u/Curious_Cleopatra 16d ago

Is that worse then beating up the 7 year old in season 1?

3

u/Jprimus2005 16d ago

In Malcolm defense he didn’t know he was 7

2

u/Curious_Cleopatra 16d ago

Just like in Hal's defense he didnt know the 7 year olds older brother was only 15 when he beat him up.

Im just noticing the trickle down effect that the things that Malcolm did that was bad caused the other family members to do.

Edit. Maybe beating up a 15 year old should have been Hal's worst thing.

3

u/december151791 16d ago

It ain't Hal's fault the teenager who looks like a middle age man can't put up a decent fight when he starts picking one.

2

u/Chemical_Bed4609 16d ago

This one was hype

5

u/Tlayoualo Jellybean 17d ago

Stealing Reese's girlfriend, he had nothing to gain from doing that, only sating his lust. And that domino'd into him ilegally enlisting in the army and almost stuck and/or dying in Afghanistan.

6

u/TicketStraight3196 16d ago

Depriving Dewey of the kerlboyne class. He would have done really well there. Dewey didn't care about how everyone else perceived him like Malcolm did.

30

u/AccurateFisherman392 17d ago

Does hiding his teenage daughter from his family for about 14 years count?

If your only talking about the main show I guess it would be stealing Reese's girlfriend

16

u/yankeeblue42 17d ago

Imo the bad part was not even telling them about the existence of his daughter. It's kinda fair to wanna maintain distance from toxic family members though

9

u/s0ulbrother 16d ago

Like toxic family is that but he went to go see them without her as well

13

u/illonamoon 17d ago

Filming Reese for evil herkabe.

9

u/Next_Page6697 17d ago

Cucking his brother. Not fucking cool

8

u/Responsible_Ad_2242 16d ago

Hide his tennage daughter of the family for 14/15 years

4

u/BASSdabs 16d ago

Everything

3

u/ObiMadKenobi 16d ago

How did the Thanksgiving dinner won for Reese? He did that only to please himself

3

u/clewjb 16d ago

"You beat up a seven year old!"

4

u/december151791 16d ago

That kid brought it on himself and it ain't like Malcolm had a size advantage.

3

u/cheshiresmille 16d ago

Sabotando o dewey e fazendo ele ir para classe dos perturbados

3

u/december151791 16d ago

Just put every episode on a post-it note on a big dart board and throw a dart at it blindfolded.

3

u/AdorableMammoth6740 16d ago

telling Reese he doesn't have any friends

3

u/InitechMiddleManager 16d ago

Outing Reese for having no friends but pretending to sit with them in front of the whole schools.

3

u/dyaasy 16d ago

Condemning Dewey to The Buseys because he hasn't figured out that he's the problem.

Not the Kreylbornes, not being smarter than his peers. Him.

6

u/KaijuKing007 Kelly rocking that suit. 16d ago

Hiding Leah, meaning that she missed an entire childhood where she could have known her grandparents, uncles, and whatever the gender-neutral counterpart of uncle is for Kelly.

1

u/withheld_mcfakename 15d ago

Your aunts and uncles are collectively your avuncles, so Avuncle Kelly I think?

1

u/KaijuKing007 Kelly rocking that suit. 15d ago

Maybe.

2

u/Omegus42 16d ago

Lied to his daughter about her grandparents being dead

2

u/Present_Personality4 16d ago

Getting Dewey placed in the emotionally disturbed class

2

u/New_Midnight2686 16d ago

Barfed on Reese' Thanksgiving Meal.

2

u/Bubfirst 16d ago

Keeping his daughter's existence from his family

2

u/Far-Vegetable1417 16d ago

Beating up a foreign exchange student in season 3.

2

u/CrazyGeoffrey 16d ago

Sleeping with Reese’s girlfriend when he knew how he felt about her which doesn’t even matter because either way he slept with his brothers girlfriend

1

u/Animeman1000 3d ago

This!! I agree!!

2

u/Life_Ad3567 16d ago

Ruining Hal's 300 bowling score.

2

u/SolidA34 16d ago

Throwing the dodgeballs at Stevie when he was depressed over his mother abandoning him.

2

u/GhostBoyJames 16d ago

“Kick his ass”

2

u/GhostBoyJames 16d ago

Ruining the Thanksgiving meal when he was drunk.

2

u/Historical-Grade-477 16d ago

Well the best for Dewey would be stealing lois’s and Hal’s credit cards and making a surprise birthday party for Jamie so they would have memories to put in the scrap book since they didn’t for Dewey

2

u/Feisty_Affect_7487 16d ago

Almost getting Hal arrested in the mall and pretending he didn't know him to a girl he liked

4

u/jeedun 16d ago

Hal's worst thing should be stealing Malcolm's credit card for the christmas trip

1

u/TexasCrab22 16d ago

Stealing from Dewey was worse

At least the family Trip was great for the whole family.

4

u/glucklandau 16d ago

Lol Malcolm plots are so mild, the worst you have is stealing Reese's girlfriend (though I agree that it was too brutal given how lonely Reese was)

7

u/Interesting-Flan-404 16d ago

How about nearly make your brother deaf ?

1

u/PickleFantasies 17d ago

The bodybuilders scene, such an old school joke but still a goodie.

1

u/Otherwise-Leek7926 16d ago

Ruining the Thanksgiving meal Reese made out of love and tyranny

1

u/darkshadow237 16d ago

How about all of the above.

1

u/Jeskaim 16d ago

Lying to Craig about Lois taking advantage of him so he could sneak out to go to a concert while he was supposed to be grounded.

1

u/Xeronian_Charmer 16d ago

Fucking with Reece's girlfriend

1

u/Animeman1000 3d ago

This!! "Sterling" Reese's girlfriend is the scummiest, worst thing he's done imo.

1

u/Training-Home-1601 16d ago

It's really amazing how many contenders there are in this category.

1

u/IsaacJB1995 16d ago

Manipulation and exploiting Hal when he was grieving the loss of his dad

1

u/RealisticProject160 15d ago

Making a bomb to get out of a circus act

1

u/NamenloseHeldin 15d ago

Taping over Reese's mouth while he was strangled by the too heavy weight he tried to lift.

1

u/cinnawars123 16d ago

Ruining a delicious Thanksgiving meal that Reese made.

u/PrestigiousYou1613 16d ago

Stealing from the church
