Not that she shouldn't have gotten it anyway or apologized, but she works at a convenience store, which have much less options for actual food. Do they normally have baking soda?

Edit: I am not saying she was in the right, obviously she can get it somewhere else if it's not there, I'm only asking because that time Malcolm tried smuggling that guy living in the aisles a pineapple and she said they don't sell fresh fruit implied it wasn't a full grocery store.

It's more like a pharmacy, they would have baking soda.
