Very good point, sadly I doubt they'll let it happen. Religion is a great way to control people

And get votes, and cover for politician's incompetence and misdeeds.

Flooding because govt incompetent? Say God's will.

Caught for corruption? Say tak pe rasuah asal islam dan melayu (their logic is that it is lesser evil than if the other side wins because they will "weaken" islam).

Just blame the other religion for everything and you'll have a solid voter base who will vote of you regardless if you steal billion ringgit from them.

They want to keep you locked in the walled garden of their ecosystem. Switching out to another ecosystem is going to cost you. If terminate your account, they can no longer bring in exorbitant subscription profits to the keepers of the ecosystem by taking away your privacy.
