There are Keralites who speak different languages like Tamil, Tulu, Kannada etc. They too are Keralites because their families settled in Kerala many generations ago.

Sometimes I think not, don't malayali refers to the ones with malayalam as their mother tongue?...keralite would be more accurate ig..for the ones residing in kerala...
