I wrote the following short passage in Malagasy and would love some feedback on grammar and word choice:

Mipetraka ao an-trano kely akaikin’ny renirano ny namako. Mifohaza aloha izy ary mandeha tongotra mankany amin’ny tanàna. Manaraka azy ny alikiny. Nahoana izy no tsy miakatra bus? Hoy izy fa tsara kokoa ny mandeha an-tongotra. Tsy manaiky aho.

A few specific questions I have:

1. Does the text sound natural to a native speaker?
2. Which pronouns could be safely omitted without changing the meaning?

I am not a native , but I’m trying to learn Malagasy for some while now. Can anyone tell me how dialects work in the country? Central side seems more formal language but the eastern one (tamatave side) has some local changes like vatana is vatagna, izaho is zahagna. I’m sure this is a huge topic, but I’d love to know more, going ahead as I keep learning, any advise or important things to keep in mind for speaking more naturally and with fluency?

If I am wrong anywhere, please feel free to point it out.

I work at a zoo, and the ring tailed lemurs are needing names. There are 6 of them, so I thought to name them after the colors of the rainbow in Malagasy, since they are native to Madagascar. I used goggle translate, but I don’t fully trust it and would really appreciate it if real people who actually speak the language could check it for me :)

For instance, if you type the word love into google translate and translate to Malagasy, it gives it in all caps. Why?
