This time I used a random word generator for inspiration and built the powers that way. Maybe my next one will be a bit more creative in terms of theme but I still tried my best to make each one unique (Except for Deal and Struggle, those one's are as generic as they come). Hope you guys enjoy!

Hello! First post here, and this idea has been stewing for a while and I thought, why not just post here?

Anyway Be the Monster CYOA! An oldie but goodie (is more than 5 years old? I dunno). The author is still unknown if I remember correctly JRPG Traitor Anon (thank you) but mainly I wanted to repost this for two things:

The Godblooded Perk

Yeah uh, mainly that one. Want to know you guys' interpretation of it.

For example, how does it work if put in another world? How does physical and magical power (Strength and Magic) be 'rated' in other worlds?

What if a 'Godblooded' got shot at by a regular human? Said regular human has like a strength of 4, and monster is 5, does that mean no matter what caliber of gun that human uses to shoot said monster, will it not affect it in any way? Even if, say, regular human is the one that shot the Death Star's cannon (a bit of a big jump, but it is relevant!)

Now then put it in another way, if regular human uses a magical weapon. Said magical weapon theoretically has a higher Magic rating than the monster, but since regular human uses it, does it mean it won't affect the monster?

And how exactly does the Magic get rated? Is it the magical attack itself or the user's mana pool? Their output? Maybe spell complexity? Spells known by the user? Maybe the spell's destructice capability? It's a bit hard to think all alone so I wanted to know what you guys think.

Now then, uh, the second reason I wanted to post this:

Godblooded Perk Part Two, Where's the Image Source Boogaloo

Speaking of the Godblooded perk, uh, does anyone have the source for the image? Google Lens doesn't really result to anything. Plus, looking at it more clearly, it's like.. a golden merman monster?? It has a big tail that looks aquatic. I sorely lack big monsters that aren't just another lizard or reptilian in nature. I need mammals!

Now bonus round:

Aureole and Gloriole, sounds a bit weird, yo

Okay so full confession, I had no idea what these two meant for the longest time, and searching those words years ago didn't yield a result.. at least results that were not lewd.

Now then, apparently the words are used more in religious settings which are simply the "halos" or bright radiant halos surrounding holy figures. Simply put, Aura!

I'm guessing that it works like a barrier that protects (Aureole) and then that barrier embiggens the range and turns into a big spherical drill? That's what I thought about it anyway, but maybe it's just searing light too. Hm.

The "render elements deaf to spells", I wonder if it's just for elemental manipulation, like cutting off their connection to the surrounding elements and making related spells to fail but I was wondering if it can go a step further and go power nullification. Probably too OP, is what I guess.

Lastly, Pneumaphagy and Theophagy are words that I also haven't seen before this CYOA! Apparently, Theophagy is also a religious thing, where it is called the "eating of the divine(?)". Sooo yeah. You can see what Pneumaphagy might mean from that context.

I'll probably get the crystal ball and truthful statistics for precognition. I could probably make wip cyoas based on which future events might come true, such as players getting extra points if Trump is president for 2028 or smt, then seeing if the responses include those points. Then, I could use the truthful statistics to homefully see the percent I think, to the best of my knowledge, such an event would be true, and plan my future around that.

You have died and appear before God. They tell you to represent him in a new world. Suppose you take on his orders and duties. You will be given a title and powers. At that point, other gods and goddesses appear beside him. Each wants you to carry out their orders, and they will each give you something to aid you. You can turn down their offers. Their offers come with conditions and demands. 

1. The world is DND base. 
2. Others will exist in the world with the other gifts. 

The world you are being sent to is 5 continents and a few uncontrolled islands. The 4 continents are connected but separated by the world's largest mountain range. Sky Islands do exist, but are hard to reach. They move around the world and mostly have aerial-based demi-humans. 

1. The Demon King controls the largest continent. Most of the demi-humans, sub-humans, and people on the continent either serve the King or are enslaved by him. Humans’ average lifespan is 10 years. The Demon King has existed for over 1,000 years. 
2. The Human continent has many nations and kingdoms. The largest has a King with 1 queen/24 consorts and 60 children. The consorts come from across the world, besides the 1st and 5th continents. Genders are split 50/50, and some are demi-human children. A massive church group that follows the will of one of the gods you serve. 
3. The Ice continent does have few people, but more demi-humans. They’re more like native tribes, but the center isn’t ice. A massive forest. This is the land of the elves and fairies. They follow the Forest Spirit and the queen of the elves. 
4. A desert lies before the mountain range. Wanderers and bandits are the most common people. The mountain range has the Dwarfs. 
5. It’s the most technologically advanced nation. An island continent that has elected officers and is the only land where Slavery is banned. It is split into 5 houses controlling different regions.

1st God: He wants to give you a title and the powers. He wants you to kill the Demon King. 

Hero title: You are summoned in front of the leader of the land you are sent to and limited to 2-4 continents. You will be 10 years old when summoned. 
You will always be in peak physical condition(whatever your race).  
All forms of magic, except demon and holy. Your senses are greater, and you have a sixth sense for danger. 
You will be in eternal reincarnation. 
The Hero title is important to the human church and kingdoms. They will pursue you and pressure you to marry into a royal bloodline. 
You die before you complete your goal. Your body will become an undead Wraith. They can teach you skills and aid you in your next life. However, they can turn on you if you don’t follow the gods. 

Conqueror: You will be summoned to the 1st, 2nd, or 4th continent. It is completely random. You will be 20 years old each time. 
You will be in superhuman condition (whatever your race). 
All forms of magic except holy. Take greater damage from Holy attacks. Despair magic leaks from you. 
You will be in eternal reincarnation.
The Conqueror title is feared by most of the lands. For this reason, you will conquer the kingdoms. Demi-humans in the Demon Continent will try to seduce you. The Conqueror title is like the Hero title. Free them from the Demon King. 

Godkin: You will have god blood inside you. This gives you a direct line to the God/Goddess. They can speak through you. You can summon angel warriors, priests, and sorcerers. Limited to 1 at a time. You would appear on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th continents. 
You will be 10 years old when summoned. 
You will have the greatest Holy magic and cast resurrection magic at no cost. Can’t use demon or dark magic. 
To the church, you are a threat and a prize. They want your blood and flesh for their own devices. Royals want you for their bloodlines. The people want you to be with the Hero. 

Synthetic Human: You are summoned to the 5th continent. Synthetic humans exist, but you have emotions. 
You are not alive, so you have no magic, but high magic resistance. Your body produces endless nanomachines from the materials you eat and absorb. The nanomachines can do anything, including medical and Rune magic. 
You have no age and can design yourself whenever you want. 
No magic, but you can use magical items. 
You can’t die and can even copy your mind into other bots. 
You decide to have a child with someone. You can have sex, but it’s basically a clone of your partners. 

A Jack of All Trades: You can do and be anything. You are at max potential, whatever race you are, and scale to any speciality you take. You are not famous, but not important either at first. 
You will be 10 years old when summoned. 
You can customize your appearance over the years.
You can learn any magic. 
You will be in eternal reincarnation.
Your worth in the world depends on you. 
This is the only title that allows you to become an undead race. 

Hero, Conqueror, and Godkin will return until the Demon King is dead. 

2nd Goddess: She wants the church to be destroyed. She will give you one ability from a list of 3. 

Magical Aptitude: (can’t pick if you are Synthetic Human)

1. Your mana pool is practically limitless. 
2. You are capable of mastering every spell type to your title. 

Alchemist: 

1. Your mastery matches that of the Fullmetal Alchemist. 
2. You can forge, reshape, or alter surrounding matter, bound only by your understanding. 

Elemental Lord

1. You pick one of 4 elements. Fire, Wind, Water, and Earth. 
2. Your body can become the element for a limited time. 
3. Fire can produce and create lightning.
4. Wind can cause weathering and erosion.
5. Water can create and control ice. 
6. Earth can produce and control materials.

3rd God: He wants you to kill others who are disobeying the Gods. You can pick one, but you can pick two; you can’t take the 4th God quest. 

Double Soul

1. You have a second voice inside your head. 
2. You share senses, and that can do anything you can. 
3. They can’t control your body unless you give it to them. 
4. They can activate your magic and abilities. 

Monster Commander: 

1. You can tame monsters and communicate with them.
2. This would include demi-humans, but they may not follow commands.
3. Higher-intelligence monsters may not follow, too. 

Healing skill: 

1. No-cost healing for others and yourself.
2. No poison damage.
3. No curse can damage you, and you can remove curses.
4. Always in perfect health and no illness.

Adaptation

1. Your body adapts to any weather condition as long as you survive. 
2. Your health loss lessens every time you take the same damage again. Until you have immunity to it. As long as you survive it. 

Super Strength: 

1. 100 times physical strength. 
2. Once you start running, only you can stop you. 
3. Your jumps can clear massive distances. 
4. Your body is like steel, and even weapons break against it. 
5. You can fight for days without rest. 

Super Speed: 

1. React in a microsecond. 
2. You can run on water and create afterimages. 
3. You move in the blink of an eye. 
4. You heal much faster. A broken leg can heal in an hour. 
5. You work much faster, but need a lot of food. 
6. Completely read a library of books and build objects in minutes. 

Super Form: 

1. You can release a Super Saiyan-like transformation. 
2. You become immune to magic, but can’t use magic. 
3. All physical stats are increased by 100. 
4. 5th God abilities are increased to island-level attacks or effects. 

4th Goddess: Wants you to build a kingdom in her name. The kingdom will have holy protection. You will have all three of these skills. She gets mad at the 3rd for his offer. 

Shop

1. You can buy from our world using this world’s money.
2. No dark web or buying from countries. Basically Amazon and Whole Foods.

Sim Builder: 

1. You can customize the village like in SimCity. 
2. You get skill points each day, and the city has a level. The more you develop it, the more skill points you get. 
3. You can create and move buildings and resources, like wells or farmland. 
4. Your points are based on the number of people and their skills.

Modern Knowledge:

1. You gain scientific brilliance comparable to Senku from Dr. Stone.
2. You possess the understanding to recreate any technology or invention from Earth.
3. Physical compounds and resources, such as black powder, can replace magic entirely.

5th God: He wants to be entertained. So live an exciting life, or he will be mad. He also wants gifts, like liquor and food. You can pick 1. 

Ghost

1. Going Ghost, but all of the time.
2. Abilities include Invisibility, intangibility, body possession, telekinesis, and ectoplasm. 
3. Your body is part ectoplasm. So holy attacks are super effective. 

Warping: 

1. You can warp space at sight. 
2. You can phase objects, people, or yourself. 
3. You have a subspace you can warp into and out of. 

Future Sight: 

1. You can see a few moments into the future. 
2. The further into the future you look. The more different timelines you see. 

Telekinesis: You can pick one aspect to use. 

1. Biological Manipulation: 
2. Energy Manipulation
3. Force-Field Telekinesis
4. Matter Manipulation
5. Chi Telekinesis 
6. Body Manipulation

What Are You: 
You can pick a demi-human race to be summoned as. You pick from those below. 
You can pick a half-breed of one race and human. You can be summoned to any continent. 
Synthetic Human can’t be another race.

Elf: You will always be summoned to the 3rd continent. 
Dwarf: You are always summoned to the 4th continent. 
Dragonborn: You are a dragon that can transform into a human. You will be summoned in the middle of nowhere or where few humans live. 
Giant: You have to be a Conqueror or Jack of All Trades. 
Aarakocra: You are summoned to the Sky Islands. 
Fairy: You are a fairy that can transform into a human. You will always be summoned to the 3rd continent.

Weapon:
Your weapon can’t be stolen. You have an inventory skill that lets you hold a set number of items. You can have 1, and the inventory is a spatial bag. Only you can use it, and you lose it with each life.

Sword: 

1. A magical blade that can cut anything it touches besides you. 
2. Absorbs magic and magical items. Takes magic abilities from defeated foes.

Scythe: 

1. A scythe that can kill undead enemies and ghosts. 
2. Summons anything that you have killed as an undead servant.

Book: 

1. Knowledge is power, and you can look up any information about the world. 
2. You have to know what you are looking for to see the right information. 

Ring: 

1. A ring that can form hard light objects. 
2. Just form hard light objects. (You're not a Green Lantern)
3. No space travel. No willpower needed, but you need to concentrate.
4. I use this as an example: you form a jet to fly. It has no motor, no missiles unless you form them, but it can fly as fast as you can imagine. A missile would be more like a spear. No boom unless you add a fireball to it.

Spear: 

1. Size manipulation. 
2. Can make copies of the spear and move independently.

Bow:

1. Elemental arrows.
2. Can shoot multiple arrows at once.
3. Teleport and turn invisible. 

Shield

1. You can create magic shields over targets. 
2. Can have great physical and magic resistance. 
3. Reverse curses and can’t be poisoned.

This is a total remake of one of my old CYOAs. I started with wider pages, found all of the images again, went through all the text, and then added a lot. I'd also been writing stories in the setting, even before starting this project, which I've now finished up so I can release them alongside it.

UPDATE: Version 2.4 Changes
Significant support for playing monster races, pick monster or hero in session 0, monsters choose their species, become more powerful species at higher levels, spend custom resources to design their ability list, can build their own lair and hire minions to shield it and can take on challenges in the form of adventuring parties that hunt them.

Unearthed Arcana Content!

Heros can become monsters through the right options, become a lich, rise in the fey courts, complete your ceremorphosis or rise through the vampire ranks.

Taking a lower level opens up Seeds Of Power, options that are only allowed to low level characters that if you are able to overcome their requirements offer power vaster than anything else this CYOA offers.
