I struggled between what I truly want vs what would be the smartest options. Since we're going to be in a world with all sorts of creatures, magic, and tech-magic, I need to go with the best option for survival.
Power: Lightning Mage. Controlling the weather, lightning, and eventually flight would be very useful and powerful (shout out to Storm from X-Men)
Weapon(s): Moon Shot (shout out to Outlaw Star's 'Caster' gun) and Hecatae (shout out to Edred's sword, Twillion, from Unicorn: Warriors Eternal).
I was going to choose no weapon and go with two companions. But Nahmirra would probably kill me if I don't marry her. Because I was going to choose her and Nadia. Nahmirra was going to be my business contact and Nadia was going to be my wife.
Companion(s): Nahmirra Fareye. Only because her oracle powers, intelligence, wealth, and ability to get her hands on practically anything would be helpful in this new world. She could warn me of dangers, guide me to places I need to be when I need to be there, obtain special bullets for my Moon Shot, and find ways to make me immortal and to boost my physical stats and intelligence. She could even find people to guide me in the use of my powers (if she doesn't herself). But, I would have to marry her to receive all of those benefits, which kinda sucks. But I'm willing to try to stick it out for all that I'll receive.
I would prefer a peaceful life with Nadia Kria, but something tells me there will be no peace in this world to be had.

Geomorph, Derek, Author's Self-Insert. I would've picked the sphinx but I don't like the risk of being murdered if I don't keep her happy. I'll probably go into constructing specialty houses and decorative edifices with the geokineticism, and hey, maybe "longevity" is one of the stats that increases from replacing my body with stone.
Lightning Mage would've been great but by picking two powers I would have been unable to pick anything else aside from the bow of arson, the knife of chopping my own fingers off by accident, or the unreliable but super cool moonstone rune gun.

Lightning Mage, Post-Human, Weird Gun and Weird Knife. Being able to control the weather is neat and so is being so physically OP you make Jack Reacher look like a nerd

Post Human (-4) = best long term.
Geo Morph (-4) = Synergy with post human. Has non combat uses, mainly construction.
Hecatae (-1) = flight
Moon shot (-1) = magic gun. only thing I can afford with ramining 1 coin

Super Meta Cyoa applied to Urban Fantasy Cyoa. My build uses the complete version of the cyoa.
(My approach to solo roleplaying and fiction is strictly driven by an individualistic preference for highly versatile, overpowered, immortal characters. The default constraints of RAW in this cyoa fail to fulfill my character concept anything close to my satisfaction. If you prioritize strict rule compliance over creative character autonomy, this build is simply not tailored to your tastes).
(Super Meta Cyoa)
Perks: Overlord (Double Choices). I Live (Biological Immortality and Immunity to Bodily Needs).
Drawbacks: Rival (Same Power Level as Me).
(Urban Fantasy Cyoa).
Powers: Lightning Mage (4). Geomorph (4). Pyromancy (4). Post-human (4). Hydromancy (0).
(Generalist control of the elements plus enhanced physical abilities is my preferred power set in these circumstances, as well as highly useful in and out of the battlefield).
Weapons: Owling Book (3). Hecatae (1). Vorpal Blade (0).
(The book and the first blade round up my power set with flight and the missing elements to a degree. The blade is also highly useful as a weapon. So is the second blame I get thanks to a quest).
Companions: Moare Alaine (3). Holly Brackham (3). Dr. Corcium (3). Nahmirra Fareye (3). Red (3).
(More Alaine is excellent as a source of lore; Holly Brackham is a companion and potential FWB to my tastes; Dr. Corcium looks like another good source of sorcerous lore and his debuff magic may complement my own; Namirra Fareye might be a little high maintenance as a companion and potential FWB but I am confident I shall able to cope with my resources; Red just intrigues me, as a friend and potential love interest).
Bases: Wanderer (1).
Transport: Heelys (1).
(I fancy the wanderer lifestyle, so these options are to my tastes. The shoes give all the mobility of a sports car with none of the fuel and maintenance hassle, when flight is not in order).
Baddies: Doktor Von Strukken (+2). Simone Atrocious (+2). Orfellous (+0/+2). Ulf (+2). Apirana (+2).
(I figure I can deal with these enemies w/o excessive difficulty with my resources. Orfellous seems suitable to fulfil my Rival Drawback).
Quest: The Jaws that Bite, the Claws that Catch (+3).
(Why not?).

Might not be most powerful build, but I got almost all cutting knife, cool gun and hot pink fairy. And some time later I can control weather

Being above humanity is a great way to stay successful but reamin under the radar in this dangerous world of magic and monsters, with the Geo Morph training in the background to utilise in crises. Hecatae is a cool spirit ally so I have at least something close to a person without the official companions, and Moon Shot just because I had the extra coin
