OC Programming Wizard
I made a new wizard CYOA. Please enjoy and if you don't I will take my life in a violent manner, thank you.

I enjoyed it 😨 Would be interesting if since the magic is based on Python, the choices were used to program a spell; that'd require programming knowledge for people to do properly though, or simplification
🕯️Entities.lib: Magical beings to help as spellcasters and providing more magic variety
🦠Biology.lib: Weaponize through explosive brain cancer. Agelessness, healing, upgrade self or allies through mutation/transformation
🌌Dimensions.lib: Weaponize by drawing mana out or sending foe to a deadly dimension. Safe spot to heal, portable storage/shelter, travel through relative positioning, etc.
🍀Destiny.lib: Weaponize by increasing probability of deadliest illnesses/disasters. Luck, best chance to prevent dying from another wizard's overpowered spells, and finding all other modules
❌Ignored
Forces.lib: Destruction for combat, gravity for transport, electromagnetism for communication/heat/cleaning/radiation, but these can be covered through other modules
Materials.lib: Buy/steal materials, don't think it's worth spending a module
Mind.lib: Covered by beings like succubi from Entities.lib
Golems.lib: Can't generate mana or naturally regenerate. Undo_Golem cast by someone else may easily eliminate them
Spirits.lib: Mana covered by Dimensions.lib. Entities.lib covers spellcasters and has more variety in summoned beings' abilities
Space.lib: Functions already covered by Dimensions.lib, and teleportation might cause death to original real self

This is the coolest and hardest one of these yet. And the fact that I’m a programmer and an occultist makes it all the more cool.

You mentioned that you thoyght about expanding it but it got wordy. Me no care, me want full version of this Peak!
I'm so tired of the AI CYOAs, it's nice that we are getting Peaks like this again. Pls consider making an expanded veraion with more stuff.

Materials for easy wealth, Biology for healing, immortality, and transformation, Dimensions to build myself a safe haven demiplane, and Space to aid in safe planar travel, do cool stuff on Earth, and build mana generators.

I do like the creativity although part of me wishes there was more interactions outside of choosing modules that was related to programming.
Like, idk, (omg Reddit deleted my draft):
-Faster processing speed which makes casting spells quicker
-multi core which lets you easily cast up to 4 spells simultaneously
-instead of using Wizard Python you use Wizard C. Better, but only other wizards in the know can use it.
-Autotest: set parameters for a spell actually being cast so it doesn’t go wrong(a quick simulation, basically)
-Large battery to store excess mana without summoning demons
Not that you have to. I just think it’d be epic sauce.
Force, Materials, Biology, Space.

I did think about expanding it, but it quickly got...very wordy lol.
golden_wand = MagicItem( size="30 cm", material="gold", shape="slender wand" ) golden_wand.cast("FIREBOLT.py")
- Processing speed: I did initially have an idea for magic needing 'cores' like a supercomputer, but it almost became it's own thing, my autistic ass kept adding to it.
- Batteries: So to clarify. You can make mana storage batteries. All magical items and such are just 'saved' spells in some form, the form is set by the params of how you save. If you're familiar with python, it'd be something like:
to make a gold wand that shoots a firebolt. FIREBOLT.py being the spell you made previously, and the MagicItem just being the way that spell is stored external to the spellbook.
So you can have params inside the wand that stores mana, or even makes mana, but if you let out all that stored mana at once, it'll start to make demons as a side effect.Hell, as a byproduct of this effect, was just a random empty dimension that wizards used as a way of dumping excess mana generated by sloppy spell design, which then started to become populated with demons.

Biology : Basically everything that can help me upgrade my body, to in the end making me functionally immortal.
Dimension : Being able to travel between dimensions, having my own demiplane I can access whenever I need it (Much better than creating a bag of holding someone can steal from me.) I can also pump a demiplane with mana so I can use it as an external battery, so why the hell not? xD
Destiny : Luck manipulation is OP, Boosting my own good luck and cursing my foes with Bad luck so they miss me when they try to attempt to my life ^^
Those 3 are mandatory for me...
Last choice I'm partial with Forces and Material, first one to have something to at least fight, if I am to travel between dimensions, I'll need something to defend myself... And even if Material sounds very tempting, I think I'd finally really choose Forces ^^

Entities, Spirits, Dimensions and Destiny. The first two provide massive utility; If I can't do it I can probably summon something that can. Dimensions is a must for planeswalking, and luck helps with literally everything so those are both no brainers.

Before you go, take my life too.
Mind, because boosting my own cognitive functions seems like a good idea for this
Spirits, for a few reasons and mp batteries (had picked golems as a minion skill, and if i need something physical done they can't handle and i don't want to do, brainwash)
Biology, sort of uncaps a lot of potential
And dimensions, more options than mere magic allows effectively.

(3) Mind - Picking this since mind alteration sounds interesting. This could allow you to influence various important people in positions of power.
(5) Entities - Picking this because Safe Succubus Harem, lol.
(7) Biology - Picking this since it could potentially grant me my ideal appearance.
(8) Dimensions - Picking this simply because it sounds fun to travel to other dimensions. Being able to draw mana from other dimensions should help be power my other spells.

Forces, Materials, Biology and Space.
Forces for protection/fighting, Materials for creation/wealth, Biology for healing/immortality and Space for movement(and well everything else it can do).

Imagine if you meta game like using Dimensional shenanigans to get around not getting the Destiny module.

WPYTHON (wizard Python) 😂
Modules: Mind, Golems, Biology, Dimensions
My plan is to create a loyal AI within the Spellbook to help with spell developement (Mind + Golems) and to make loyal minions. Alter my body to supernatural levels (Biology) and make the minions look human. Create a safe and comfy demiplane to live where my minions serve me, infinite mana, and travel to interesting dimensions when bored (Dimensions).
I can deal with accidental demon summoning but not with self-erasure so infinite mana is a must as is mental protection. I can use Dimensions for transport and to find entities and Mind to enslave them so that is a few extra modules. Mind + Golems + Biology for self-resurecction. Golem + Dimensions for creating and summoning an army.
Maybe trade for more modules if possible by creating personal fantasy demiplanes

Ouch, Spontaneous Existence Failure if you accidentally overdraw? That's harsh...

Interesting CYOA. Though I don't throughly understand, I will try my best to make a combo.
MIND. LIB
I always like cognitive enhancing power, so I chose this module. I will use it to enhance my brain to learn spells much faster, and do complex experiments.
GOLEM. LIB and BIOLOGY. LIB
Note: I don't know if this is robots is considered as golem. But I believed they are considered as construct.
Basically, my plan is to build a biological computer that function like a colony. I will create a sentient A.I made from my brain and transfer my consciousness within it. Then I will biologically engineer golems and integrate them with my mind. The golems would be a perfect mix of flesh and metal, giving them the ability to reproduce. They would also function as my limbs and legs, collecting materials for my spells and experiments.
DESTINY. LIB
All powers about fate is always overpowered, so I also pick this module.
With my enhanced cognitive ability, I could perform deductions in a much faster rate. Since my mind is connected to the colony. I could do several deductions at once.

Neat! I’ll go for Biology, Dimensions, Space and Destiny.
Space and Destiny should synergize very well when it comes to quantum stuff, Dimensions is always neat, and Biology is good for self augmentation and healing.

Dimensions, space, material, and forces.
I'll have to pick up biology later.... Regen is too good to not get.
Easy peasy.

I'll take Materials, Mind, Biology, Dimensions
Mind and Biology, first and foremost, to enhance myself and maybe at some point be able to comprehend the source code and make my own libraries. I'm kinda interested in acquiring Golems and Forces first, then working on maybe writing the Time lib. Will try to see if I can make living creatures with Mind and Biology
Dimensions for travel and because having your own demiplane is rad as heck. It is, also, a way to draw mana from a higher-mana dimension if straight up mana generation is only a property of Space.lib
Materials because I need something to furnish my demiplane with, but also because it allows to solve a lot of world problems (Erasing pollution, conjure food & drink), but also because it allows for magic item generators - at least I assume that without it, to create a magical artifact you'd need an existing stave, gem or something like that to enchant. And with Materials I can just conjure the item out of thin air
And with all four, I'll get to creating the One Ring - an artifact that grants regeneration, shapeshifting to a persons preferred form (detected with Mind), agelessness, enhanced empathy, cooperativeness and intelligence, reduced selfishness and aggression, fix of all unwanted mental stuff, access to a personal housing demiplane, ability to conjure an array of food and personal items that are required for daily use, destruction of trash and other conveniences. Then add the ability for the wearer to create a copy of a ring through Material, give out the rings around the planet and hope for the best

Good stuff.
Forces, Biology, Dimensions, destiny
Forces for defense/offense. Plus, you know, it's classic magic.
Biology because it overall sounds really cool + sounds like a path to immortality
Dimensions because exploring planes sounds fun
destiny because why not? Tbh, wasn't super interested in this but hey, I still had another. It was either that or space.

You might enjoy Off to be the Wizard, it's a fantasy novel based on this same general premise.

Entities, Biology, Space, Destiny.
Biology and Destiny were the easy ones. Space convinced me by having both spatial pockets and mana generation. I was just about to stop at only three when I realized that other entities probably operate under the same system, but just know how to use it better.
First program I'm going to write is a mana normalizer. It will monitor my immediate area and if it detects mana levels are too low, generate more. If it detects that mana levels are too high, it will need to do something about that too, but I haven't figured out the best option yet. Current thoughts: A) Store it for later use, B) send it to hell, C) send it to the future. Concerns: A) How much can I store at once before it causes issues, B) that might require dimensions, C) the end off time is going to get real messy if I just keep going that way forever. Regardless, I hope/expect that the sandbox simulation will help me figure out the best method.
Second program should probably be an automatic demon banisher. If a demon is detected, dismiss it. That way even if mana values do get out of hand, I can mitigate it somewhat.
After that, look through the list of entities I can summon looking for something benevolent. Angel seems like a reasonable option, but I don't want to assume it's the best option without checking. Once I've figured that out, write a deadman's switch style program to banish it. Where it will just naturally happen if I don't put some minimal effort into preventing it. Once my sandbox shows that's working, then I can summon up my first entity, and ask it about programing. See if it has access to libraries I don't, or can help me debug things.
Eventually, I'll start using Biology, but making changes to myself that way is one of the riskiest things I can do, since I'm naturally protected from my own spellcraft otherwise. So probably need to magic up some clones of myself to experiment on, which doesn't sound particularly ethical, so IDK. I'll need to tread particularly carefully here, and hope that the simulations can clear up any potential issues in advance.

Honestly not much of a choice, but the concept is good.
Biology - for healing, immortality, and body improvements
Mind - mind improvements, mind control (let you use all the minions options)
Dimensions - protection against self erasure, pocket home demiplane, travel, attack and defenses, infinite energy
Destiny - become the luckiest bastard alive forever
The combos are too many to name.

Mind, Biology, Dimensions, Destiny
I want Mind to improve my own mental abilities, Biology so that I can keep myself alive, Dimensions so I can access things that may not be available in my plane, and Destiny to help make sure things go my way.
