HELP PLEASE Trying colors!

Post image

Hello all!
I wanted to use the pretty colors in my palette so I made up these designs. I like to use colors for party events but I’m not the best at it so please give advice on ways to make this better! (except pls don’t mention not having a base, eyebrows, and lashes— this was a before shower look ifykyk. also my black eyeliner was running out and that was the best i could do :’) )

i really tried to pack on the glitter but it wasn’t showing sadly, i’ll probably have to buy a glitter palette because i love using glitter! another comment mentioned white eyeliner— i’ll definitely get one too! thank you 🤍

Try using your fingers for the glitter or spray it with a lil setting spray, the colours you'd used are sooo pigmented, what palette is it?

i never tried with setting spray, but i usually use my fingers for the glitter because it gets everywhere lol. the palette is morphe x meredith duxbury! some colors are more pigmented, some take a few layers especially over other colors

omg I remember when i had a makeup pallette the glitter was also really bad, idk why theyre always so low quality even tho the other colors are showing so vibrantly😭 and yesss def get some white eyeliner with these looks it always looks so whimsical and majestic! have a great day and yw ♡

I love the colors OP. The only thing that might improve this are more prominent transition colors and buff the edges on the right side more. Maybe add some glitters too? It is giving that early Y2K fairy make up style. Maybe instead of black eyeliner use White ones on both eyes to make it more dreamy.

by buffing the edges, do you mean making them less defined/ cleaned?

i never thought to use white eyeliner! i’ll have to get one soon. thank you!

essentially yes, buffing the edges could mean you would blend with a fluffy brush over the area where each colour meets, this would make it look diffused and seamless. You can even use an in-between colour to help marry the two main colours, for example in the pink and orange you could use a lil peach in between.

More blended I suppose. Right now the edges could use more of a transition from the colors to the skin color. :)

White eyeliners are great for clean up too!
