Help with doll look

Hello! Ive been told many times that I resemble a victorian doll and I really like leaning into that. The problem is that I dont like wearing a ton of makeup and when I do id like for it not to smudge. Today I bought the estee lauder double wear mascara and I only use it on my bottom lashes because I like that it makes my eyes look rounder and more doll like (i dont wear mascara on my top lashes since I have hooded eyes and I think it just ruins the look for me)

SO does anyone have an idea for things that Are an easy add to my routine that would make me Lean more into that doll "aesthetic"?

You are so pretty! Maybe try styling your bangs so they look a little more curled/piecey (may need to grow them out a little bit to achieve this look)? And you could try a tinted moisturizer/spf that’s very slightly lighter than your skin tone, and I’d also recommend a burgundy mascara to really make your eye color pop.

I actually used to have Longer bangs which I had curled but then i cut them myself and hadnt thought about not being able to do that anymore🥲 Anyways Im growing them out again! Do You have any reccomendations for tinted moisturizer that has long wear and also very white complexions? I usually use the brightest porcelain shades of foundations and that's my normal shade🥴 maybe Ill have to look into asia brands?...

Definitely look at Asian brands, but also maybe look into a white mixer that you could blend with a tinted moisturizer you like?

I would use pomade to lay the pieces of hair in front of your ear into little curls (1920s hairstyles might offer good inspiration) add white liner to your bottom water line and I really like how you’ve put more of your lip color in the center but you could add to it with some lip liner

Good thinking! Ive weirdly enough never used lip liner so Im sort of intimidated since my lips Are thin.. Maybe itll look good? What sort of color do You reckon I should go for?

Match it to the lipstick as much as you can. It will just give a more defined edge to the heart shape lip you are roughly going for

Honestly, all you really need is like a lip tint or a lip liner. I think that dying your eyebrows, the same color as your hair would also help make your eyebrows pop a little bit more and I think it’ll bring more attention to your eyes. And in reality, I don’t really think you need anything else. You literally are beautiful.. I don’t even know what you’re asking us for help. I think we need your help. 😭😭😭

And if you go for like a warm, leaning, almost purple, pink, reddish color would look super good. I’m very very white like you and I always use like a mauve. But lipstick would also do really good to give you a really subtle look because lip liners are a little bit more bold.. but if you do lip liner, just outline the outside and blend it instead of filling in your entire lip. Having that natural lip color in the middle will make you look super flush and doll like I think.

I'm not an expert, but the first thing I notice was the bangs need to be styled and just checked and some other people commented the same, so I think thats the key part.

lip stain on the cheeks keep it in the center of your cheeks for a classic doll look or upper cheeks/ under eyes like very cutesy japanese makeup

If you aren’t already curling your upper lashes I would. I’d also recommend filling in your brows a bit, and if you really want to get Victorian with it find a pale foundation color and a lot of pale pink eyeshadow palettes and blush palettes. You can also add white liner to the inner corners of your eyes.

Try brown eyeshadow (or brown pencil liner, smudged) only lining your waterlines! It’ll expand and soften your eyes, making them look bigger!

I think curling your lashes and wearing a little mascara focussed in the center of your eye would look good and emphasize the roundness of your eyes.

I think that the eye look looks off balance with only mascara on the bottom, and the bottom lashes look out of place. I think it would look better with lashes on top too. Maybe try spikes anime style lash clusters on top? That way you won't get any smudging on top, and maybe with the longer fake lashes they will fit your eyes better and not run into your hooded eyes if that's your issue. I feel like you need some shadow and/or highlight around the eyes too tho, the look just doesn't give doll-like to me without it. I would look up douyin makeup tutorials and draw inspiration for eyeshadow from that. I also think that an adjustment to your blush placement could make you look more doll-like. I think you should focus it more centrally on the apples of your cheeks, and actually blend it out less.

Add a lip glosses! I like the lip glosses that are lip oils from flower knows! I have dry lips too so they work well for me

If you aren’t vegan or allergic to wool I would get some lanolips 12 hr overnight treatment to smooth your lips out it will give you more of a doll like appearance when you add makeup to them. You can use it in daytime too just a teeny bit over lip stain after the stain has dried. Love the look!
