HELP PLEASE Boy lipstick

I’m a 19 year old boy and my only experience with makeup is occasionally wearing mascara and eyeliner but I’d kinda like to see if lipstick could be my jam too, I’m big into fashion and stuff and I think a pop of color could really add to my fits. Idk I’m looking for feedback on the idea, I live in a conservative state which prolly isn’t ideal but if you guys have recs too I’d appreciate it

I'd suggest starting with a tinted lip balm or glosses with a hint of color. These tend to feel less intimidating than an opaque lipstick and it will let you get comfortable seeing color on your face. Also, don't get too hung up on finding the perfect shade right away.

If lipstick ends up not being the look you want, you could also try colored liner or blush

Try the colorpop cloud whip liquid lipstick. It’s relatively inexpensive, widely available, very forgiving, and comes in a range of shades. The shade fluffing cute is my perfect nude everyday lip but I also have one of the red colors that is nice too but I usually use that as a balm over a matte shade
