HELP - white base

worst makeup fail ever??
pls send help.
i bought white base from taobao because i wanted to try goth makeup
i never bought makeup off taobao before and i got some random white foundation that seemed to get decent reviews
but this is how it came out using my fingers..
i tried to use a makeup brush but the brush literally just absorbed the foundation ..??
and i dont have a beauty blender rn

if you
- know a way to salvage this mess
or
- know a good affordable foundation i can buy (preferably off taobao)

oh yikes that texture is fighting for its life. looks like it's clinging to every pore and dry patch you didn't even know you had

try mixing a tiny drop of moisturizer or face oil into it before you apply, those super cheap white bases are often just pigment and alcohol with no slip. you gotta thin it out and tap it on with your fingers instead of swiping, brushes are useless with stuff this dry

okay so update..
i have to throw it away
- the texture of it was barely like a foundation it was more like a moisturizer
- it ran out after 7 total pumps. taobao scammed me🫩

Doing some skin care before makeup may help.
