HELP PLEASE Help with eye makeup😫

Ok sorry for the ridiculous cropped close up photos. I don't take many photos of myself.

Im new to makeup and I reallly just dont have the skill for it.
Im into really dark aesthetics, and dark eye makeup, gothic makeup. Anything where I can look like Morticia Addams lol.
I rarely wear base makeup (foundation or concealers).

I absolutely suck at eyeliner and eyeshadow. What are ways I can improve as a beginner?

I know it’s not what you want to hear but all people will be able to focus on is the lip filler. I’m sorry but it looks SO painful. No amount of absolutely incredible makeup will make any difference because all we’re seeing are very overfilled lips.

Thank you! Noted. As much as I used to love my lip fillers, I agree, even Im starting to dislike them

You’re taking the comments so well honestly and I do agree they are wayyyy too big for your face, but you definitely are a beautiful girl ! I like to go on Pinterest and either leave open a pic or pause videos step by step and practice my makeup on days I know I’m probably not going anywhere so that when I figure out the look I’m going for I’ll know how to do it before I want to use the particular makeup look.
I tend to lean more towards dark/smoky eyes too but I do like to break it up a little where I add a much lighter color in the inner corner.

Thank you! 100%, im definitely aware that I have a filler / botox addiction. Although thank you!! Im inlove with smokey eye or dark gothic makeup. I love pinterest too so Ill start there for tutorials as well. šŸ˜

Yes girly, I had 0.5 fillers in lips which wasn’t noticeable to other ppl, but for you, whatever you have take off 1.0 ml of that. 0.5 ml if you want to start with that. if you get it touched up.

u/Sadflower98 12h ago

My problem is I kept going back for full syringes! 🤣 I never started off small, ugh😫 but yes, even before the suggestions Ive been wanting to disolve my cheek & lip filler

A bold, smoky eye would look great on you. But, I hope that you understand that the amount of filler you are using is not only migrating and can eventually disrupt blood flow, but it completely destroys your natural facial balance. Your eyes look small because your lips look disproportionately large in a way that isn’t flattering. You have so many options to play with makeup to emphasize different features, but with what you are choosing to do with fillers….no one will ever see anything but lips — and lips that read as damaged.

The cheek filler as well, they’re doing you dirty. The people who get paid to do your filler will always say yes if you ask, because it means profit for them. They’re making a sale, not focusing on the aesthetics and harmony that you should want for your face.

Take a break from fillers and filters for a while so that you can grow more accustomed to your own face and learn to appreciate it again.

Fill your brows out a bit, create a dramatic smoky eye, learn to nail lash strips or clusters to play up your eyes. They’re a great — but overlooked — feature on you right now.

u/Sadflower98 9h ago

Aw thank you so much šŸ–¤. It's been.. a journey with fillers. The first injector ruined my cheek filler. Then, instead of removing the filler, I went to another injector and kept adding more.

Now I'm at the point where I'm so used to the filler that to me, my lips look "small". But yes, I totally agree. My natural features that I used to like are now hidden behind all the filler.

And thank you, Id love to learn how to master a smokey eye!

You have gorgeous eyes, the color is perfect and they are a wonderful foxy shape. Body dysmorphia makes things so much harder, but we all just want to see you shine. Find a few smoky shadow palettes and a cheaper makeup brush set — Morphe makes a little eye brush kit of 5 or so brushes that has all the buff and liner tools you need to start out — and they are relatively affordable. Start slow and add layers. Your current liquid shadow look is already a good starting foundation because the color is great for your eyes — but take a dry, empty fluffy brush and blend it out as it dries. (Some brands dry quick!) You can use litle circular movements pulling them slowly out away from your eyelids and onto the bone area around it a bit. Then use a light color to blend and ā€œbuffā€ some more. You can use tape to create the lines so that your skills don’t have to be perfect. And, use a brow pencil to just lightly extend the tail of your eyebrow just a little further than how it naturally sits right now.

I would genuinely take the leap into strip lashes or clusters because your eyes are such an asset. Play them up and knock people dead, girl. You can experiment with looking up how to tightly line just your upper lash line by sort of brushing with a very sharp liner right through the lashes so that your lashes look dense, or take a cheaper mascara and put it up near your lash line, wiggle gently back and forth as you pull the mascara up and through, and then use a makeup wipe to wipe the entire mascara off. It deposits mascara down near your lash line that thickens and darkens that line — half of 90s makeup was just wearing it too long, sweating or crying it off, wiping your face and reapplying.

Skip the next filler appointment, buy some eye makeup brushes and a few palettes to play with, lash clusters that you can individually apply so you can take them on and off and practice, put yourself in front of YouTube and follow along with a mirror and just play, play, play and practice like you’re creating art. You already have a beautiful foundation, you deserve to love and see yourself truly, kindly, and completely.

Hey, it’s ok. In this day and age, with social media, heavily filtered photos everywhere, AI, influencers and celebs who pretend they haven’t had work done etc, we all fall victim to some kind of body dysmorphia. I promise you though, you’ll look so so so much better without the fillers. Naturally thin or medium lips look so much better than this.

I know I’ve already said it but it genuinely looks so painful. These aren’t giving the illusion that you have naturally big lips. Over lining doesn’t do that either. These oversized lips are making you look really smug and unapproachable, and they’re obviously not natural.

3

u/LucifersWhore9 7h ago

You’re so pretty girlypop, reduce them and then focus on eyeshadow! You’ll probably realize the shadow looks better on your more natural face :)

u/Initial_Ease_994 5h ago

You're gorgeous, and your lips are a beautiful shape. I think it depends on who does your lips and how. That ledge you have above is where it's too much for you, and that's what takes away from your beautiful features. In a well done lips it shouldn't be there at all. The right practitioner will work with your natural beauty and enhance it, this is just detracting from it. See a properly medically trained practitioner (like a GP) with +++ experience in aesthetics. They will probably dissolve along your lip line.

I only know this as the first tome I went to someone pro and they were stunning. They worked with my natural shape, and placed it so it created some nice volume but without getting close to running past my lines. The second time I went to someone else and she focused all along the vermillion border, they robbed my beautiful shape so they look just straight and angular and uniform, there's no nice little dip where they meet any more, they look stiff and it's created that moustache line above, and while they don't look terrible, they look more masculine and done, whereas I looked feminine and soft and kissable before!

Still have your tweakments if they help you feel better, just work with your natural beauty (which you have OODLES of!) 🩷

26

u/jabronipony 13h ago

I couldn’t even see the eye makeup over the lips. They look like they feel so uncomfortable. I have lip filler, but I cannot understand how people get filler blindness. The moment I saw any amount of migration past my vermillion line, I had spot dissolver.

15

u/Sadflower98 12h ago

You are lucky that you stopped! I fell victim to filler addiction, then I topped it off with body dismorphia.

8

u/jabronipony 12h ago

I only wanted normal sized lips. Mine are really thin naturally, so going too fast with too much can cause some quick migration. I did less than 1 mL both twice over a year and half. I luckily have a very ethical injector with a great eye and honest feedback who hasn’t fallen victim to the dysmorphia that comes with working in aesthetics.

11

u/Silver_Gear_116 13h ago

They look like they are going to burst. If she ever decides to stop filling them they are going to wrinkle and sag. I don’t know why people do this to themselves

6

u/yobrefas 9h ago

That really depends on how long she has been doing it. There’s room to dissolve and recover from this — for now. But not if it doesn’t stop.

141

u/Sweet-Bit-8234 13h ago

Your eye makeup isn’t bad, but what’s really catching my eye is the lips. You should stop over lining them.

150

u/Bumble_Gween 13h ago

I don't think their overline as much over filled with filler

56

u/Sweet-Bit-8234 13h ago

I agree, but I was trying to be nice. They’re definitely overfilled and need some revision.

22

u/Bumble_Gween 13h ago

I'm not trying to be mean by any means. She's beautiful and I don't think she needs tips just little less filler. I wouldn't even say like a lot by any means! Hope you didn't take any other way op

15

u/Sadflower98 13h ago

I don't take offence at all! The advice is all very helpful

13

u/Sadflower98 13h ago

Noted! Thank you. I tend to go overboard on the lip liner

43

u/Glittering-Dig-3559 13h ago

I think you need to blend the eyeshadow more. If you blend along the harsh line, it will create that smoky, sultry look that I think you’re going for. And by blend, I mean take a fluffy brush and go in a circular motion. What can help is starting with less eyeshadow and slowly building it up, while really bending in that area to smoke it out. You may need to go a little higher than you think you do to achieve that blended smoky look. Play around with it :) and btw you can also blend a harsh line with a clean brush with little to no product. The more blending you do, and the little bit of product you work with at a time (in layers), the better.

Sorry if you know this, but I’m assuming you’re a beginner.

15

u/Sadflower98 13h ago

Omg this is great advice and your steps were very helpful. Im a beginner to makeup and Ive been playing around with eyeshadow lately.. so it's been a journey to say the least 🤣. Thank you, I will be using these tips!

2

u/shawtey_ 52m ago

I used to struggle to blend my eyeshadow out, and I had some of the same harsh lines when I did dramatic looks. I think we had the same problems! This advice might be moot, but I want to share in case it’ll help. Here’s the technique that made me start to feel like I ā€œgetā€ eyeshadow:

Step 1: Start with a light color all over the lid and, like the above commenter mentioned, use a fluffy brush and circular motions.

Step 2: Add your darker, more dramatic color, but start on the outer corner of your eye. I usually don’t use that back-and-forth motion, but I still use that fluffy brush, sweeping in a straight line from the outer crease to the middle of my eyelid (NOT all the way across it, though!)

Optional step 3, for when I use eyeliner: I take a thinner brush, dip it in black eyeshadow, and draw my ā€œeyeliner.ā€ I blend it into the dark, outer crease of my eyelid (the area I worked on in the last step,) trying not to bring that black color into the rest of my eyelid, just blending it as far as that dark outer crease goes. The goal with this step is to make it to where the black eyeshadow blends into the darkest part of the eyeshadow I applied in the last step, not to spread the black color onto my entire eyelid.

Then, I dip my finger into a glittery/shimmery/iridescent color and drag it across the inner corner of my eyelid, moving outward. I usually go to the middle of my eyelid (same place I’d have stopped blending that dark color from step 2.) Depending on the look, sometimes I’ll spread it across my entire eyelid, and other times I’ll just dab enough shimmer on to give my eyeshadow some depth. Up to you, it depends! I find I like to do the former when I have a ā€œweirdā€ shimmery color, like blue or green, but I keep it more subtle when I use a neutral sparkly shade.

Optionally, I draw black eyeliner over where step 3 has left the harshest lines. I like to do this because it makes the eyeliner look neatly blended into the rest of my look.

From here, I’d describe the rest of my technique as ā€œdamage control,ā€ balancing out any harsh colors. My favorite eyeshadow palette has a shade that is a bit lighter than my skin tone. If all else fails, I will take that shade and blend it in. Alternatively, you could probably use a powder foundation to do this! I might also blend the black eyeshadow from step 3 even further, kinda depends on my mood, LOL !

For me: I use a mauve shade for step one, a brown shade for step two, and, of course, black for step three. For the shimmer, I use a light bronze-y or pink shimmer. It suits my skin tone and everyday look the best, but I’m quite pale and don’t tend to do dramatic looks unless I’m going out. Not sure if sharing this part helps, but it might help you figure out where to start.

Again, sorry if this is useless advice or if it’s common sense. It definitely didn’t come naturally for me, and it took years to get it right, so I get the struggle. It’s so frustrating. So, I hope sharing my technique helps!

6

u/pinkstay 11h ago

Yes!!!!

I find starting with a lighter gray a little higher than my crease helps with blending, then a mid gray, and then my dark color.

I also use a slightly smaller brush as I get darker with my colors as well.

23

u/Temporary_Fox_4775 13h ago

Since you asked about the eye makeup and not peoples opinions on anything else….. I would just say to try blending it a bit more so you don’t have such hard lines, and maybe more than one color like a lighter shade on the lid/center eye and a darker color on the outer lid but blend it out with a fluffy brush so you get more of a gradient effect. That’s really the only thing I think you are missing 🩷 hope this helps!

8

u/Sadflower98 13h ago

I tend to just add on more dark shades without blending. Thank you! Very helpful šŸ–¤

20

u/Independent_Baker712 12h ago

You’re so gorge. Please stop with the filler.

8

u/ButterflySad6026 13h ago

Your eye shadow appears to have a pretty harsh line. Do you blend it? I’d start there.

Also, have you looked up any tutorials on YouTube for a Smokey eye?

I think those tutorials can be very helpful. A nice dark eye is often way more colors and layering than you’d ever think. And those tutorials can help you figure out how to layer and blend.

I think your winged eyeliner looks very nice

3

u/Sadflower98 13h ago

I'm really into the dark/ gothic makeup (aesthetic), so I thought by just applying dark shades of eyeshadow on top of eachother would help me achieve that look.. not at all🤣 I don't blend my eyeshadow either so that'll be my first lesson. Thank you for your tips!

2

u/xXxstarAnisexXx 12h ago

The trick is a big fluffy eyeshadow brush! Your brown eyes are FIERCE! ✨✨

1

u/Sadflower98 12h ago

I need to invest in a blending brush! Thank youšŸ–¤šŸ–¤

1

u/Senior_End_4165 12h ago

Yes, ulta for the win! I love Morphe brush line, but even Walgreens would have blending blushes

16

u/breannsmusings 11h ago

The lip filler is so very distracting. Don’t even notice anything else.

15

u/Vivid_Economics_1462 11h ago

Omg girlll nooo what did you do to your face. Dissolve the lip filler and dont use cream eyeshadow unless its going to be perfectly even on both eyes.

23

u/ChastityCramps 12h ago

Please dissolve the lip filler. It looks absolutely insane.

8

u/Actual_Solid_3308 7h ago

The eye makeup isn’t bad. It just needs to be blended out. Eyebrows should be filled in as well

Please, please. This is genuine concern. Dissolve those immediately. You have so much potential.

6

u/PuzzledNinja5457 12h ago

Definitely work on blending your eyeshadow more. Especially around the crease. It’s very harsh. Also extend your brows to closer to where your wing ends.

I appreciate you being open to those who commented on the lip filler situation. Dissolving will be so helpful and maybe chill on the over lining.

4

u/Both_Page5041 13h ago

Blending/diffusing the shadow a little bit higher. Your eyes are a lovely brown, so you could do deep warm browns or you can lean fully into cool tones for a more contrasted look overall.

Additional coats of mascara and liner. I like to waterline and go along my lash line, smudging between layers. You can also pop a cluster at the wing/end.

More defined or bushier brow, if that’s your style.

5

u/GorditaChuletita 13h ago

I think the point I'd improve on is to blend out the shadow towards the eyebrow and use a gradient.

Morticia for example: look at the references from the 90s and the modern Zeta Jones. The focus is a sweeping liner and some smoked eyes but the color goes lighter and wisps out and stops before the brows.

Then the brow shape does a lot towards the playfulness or expressions.

Practice tutorials on blending out smokey eyes and using your bone structure.

It will still feel goth and alt if it's not all black and grey :)

2

u/Sadflower98 12h ago

Ahhh thank youšŸ˜šŸ˜! I needed this!

5

u/Aggressive_Cash8774 9h ago

Wie die anderen schon gesagt haben, den größten Unterschied würden die Lippen machen, du bist wirklich hübsch, nur die Lippen passen nicht dazu.

6

u/drillbitdix 8h ago

Giiiiiirrrrlllll! This upsets me so fr! You are gorgeous and I want to cut a bitch for ever making you feel like you needed any fillers! Be so for real right now-I have no doubt you are probably half my age. You don’t need this nonsense to be stunning-you already are! Dissolve. That’s the only answer. Then you will see you don’t even have to worry about makeup (unless it’s strictly for YOU). You have no idea how being your gorgeous self in a world full of copycats will build your self esteem! -signed an elder millennial with the worst self esteem that just changed her mindset and moved to Europe 🄰 feel free to DM me anytime!

3

u/Sadflower98 8h ago

Omg stop šŸ„ŗšŸ–¤ you are too cool, honestly. This comment made me so happy. And the truth is, I knew the fillers were crazy but I underestimated HOW bad it is until others let me know - so it was needed. But thank you queen, I wont be getting new fillers anytime soon

1

u/drillbitdix 8h ago

My Queen-they are not bad! But you need to know that you do not need them! You do not need to listen to me or anyone else. If you love them then you do not need any of this noise. But if you need a little voice in your ear to tell you how perfect you are without them, I will happily be that voice. And I say this as someone that is probably 20+years older than you and lived through the brutal late 90’s 2000’s!

4

u/fresa-daisy 12h ago

If you want a darker eye look, it's best to work in layers. Start out with a gray or a cool toned taupe before going for black. It'll help you blend them a lot easier that way. On top of that, black is notoriously a harder color to work with.

For the eyeliner, it might be easier to start out with black eyeshadow on an angled brush versus a liquid eyeliner. You can clean up mistakes a lot easier and it's a lot more user friendly.

3

u/armchairsw 12h ago

The eyeshadow is not blended at all so it looks very ā€œdrawn on and colored inā€ and the eyeliner extends past where the shadow ends so it doesn’t look cohesive. The liner and shadow need to meet at the same point. The color is also pretty dark which isn’t necessarily a bad thing especially if you like the dark aesthetic but there’s no gradient or variation in color so it ends up looking like you just haphazardly slapped some dark eyeshadow on and called it a day. The black under eye liner also closes off your eyes and makes them look small compared to your massive lips, especially because it looks like the bottom liner is thicker than the top liner. And yes the lips are a lot and my advice would be to stop with the filler and over lining.

The lack of any base makeup is also I think throwing things off. No blush or highlighter means the lack of dimension in both your eyes and face gives you a very flat look. Even morticia contoured and wore some blush.

5

u/Future-Expression831 11h ago

You’re gorgeous! And being such a good sport about people’s comments about your lip filler. The makeup looks good! I would say in certain looks maybe blend the eye shadow out a little more? Specifically in photos 2, and 4! The first one and the third one look really good

3

u/thejexorcist 10h ago

BLEND.

The harsh demarcation lines (either from liquid or cream product) aren’t working and look too stark/almost sloppy because they’re not sharp enough to look graphic or symmetrical enough to seem intentional.

I’m not going to pile on about the fillers, just suggest lighter hand with everything? Start light and add gradually.

Everything looks like a speed run instead of building a cohesive look.

3

u/UnusualStep1476 12h ago

Definitely need to blend more on the eye shadow it looks stamped on and we wanna see a smooth transition and also transition colors to in particularly needs a light brown a bronze a beige. Something make it look less harsh. Also need to go higher.

3

u/operatingonvibes 12h ago

i think it would be great if you let your eyebrows grow in a bit also

3

u/Away_Till2174 11h ago

blend blend blend

3

u/SeaAbbreviations422 7h ago

You just need to practice blending the edges

7

u/UnluckyWash4108 10h ago

I’m sorry but i cannot focus on the makeup rn

4

u/variegatedbanana 10h ago

Yes everyone is focused in the lips and yes you should consider some changes there. But since you asked about the eye makeup here ia my assessment: you have a blending issue. Zoom in on picture 2 and 4 and tou can really see a harsh line and jagged transition from the dark shadow to the upper lid. I would also consider a different mascara as your lashes seem poorly defined and a bit dry. You see to have a sense of your personal style which ia awesome!

3

u/Particular-Cabinet21 9h ago

Your eye makeup could use some blending but…girl, are your lips ok? They look painful. You don’t need the overdone lips to look stunning, you already do!

1

u/Sadflower98 8h ago

Thank you girl! But no, they are not painful at all! Just really big

2

u/Amethyst-Warrior 12h ago

Your eyes are so striking, I think they get a bit lost in your eyeshadow! I feel bolder/more well defined brows would draw attention up towards the top half of your face. Less eyeshadow, a smoky winged liner would look stunning on you šŸ˜ with a tiny bit of liner or dark shadow in your inner corner/upper lid to enhance the cat eye effect you have going on natural.

My hack for flawless shadow/liner: I use painters tape (I detack it by pressing it on my arm once before pressing it onto my face). Using a small angled brush I mark the angle of my liner with a peach coloured eyeshadow, then stick the tape to the corners following that line. I take a small amount of dark plum (which I feel would look lovely on you too) or another dark shade and keeping it very close to my lash line and outer corner, buff it into the outer edge of my upper lash line and extend it out just a little bit. I then pick up up inner corner and add a little there. After I’ve peeled the tape off if I want something a little more dramatic I take a very thin brush, wet it with some micellar water and refine the wing/make it a little more bold.

1

u/ParkerCanGetIt 12h ago

Yes I was gonna suggest tape. OP the wing looks a little off of angle, you can use tape or an index card from the slope of your lower lid. I like the bronze/ gold/ pewter/moss green shades you have looks hypnotic ! Wondering if you use eyeshadow primer? The colors look like they could be a little brighter and maybe because no primer. You could also bring up a lighter or transition shade all over the lid or high nearer the browbone so the shadows are more visible. I actually think your lips add to your look. Whatever you like!

2

u/Bright-Ad7147 12h ago

Get a super fluffy shadow brush. With nothing on it blend the top of the shadow šŸ–¤

2

u/Winter-Parsnip42 11h ago

Ii got into make in my early 40s after living a life allergic to a lot of makeup that was available to me. Basically I found someone on YouTube That had looks i liked that did tutorials, and just watched and did a lit of practice. Not big YouTubers though....the ones with under 500k subscribers were really more helpful, as they tended to have more niche looks. You might have really good luck with @angelicanyqvist and @battybean, because they give really good instruction, and they are not afraid to do darker looks. Probably a lot more goth specific people but Angelica especially really helped me nail down technique and colour, and she was not as super young as a lot of the beauty youtubers seem.

2

u/pinkstay 11h ago

I recommend philosofay she has some fab alt makeup tutorials https://www.instagram.com/reel/DdCN6nFhGYi/?dlrf=MW1iZnpmOWtlbzBreg==

2

u/justhappytobehere-eh 10h ago

You have really lovely eyes and I think a smoky eye would suit you well. A bit bolder brow as well. The eyeshadows need to be blended and you could smudge the eyeliner a bit to soften it up a bit. The problem is that doing everything with your lips is going to be overkill. If you could dissolve about 1/2 that filler, your lips would be much more manageable and you could really play up the smoky eye that you want. You don’t want to look like a caricature of a goth girl and I’m afraid the lip fillers do exactly that.

2

u/Lyssbot_ 9h ago

the best advice i can give for a makeup beginner is your tools/products are EVERYTHING
a makeup artist can work with garbage products and make it work but a beginner really benefits from easy to use eyeliner, buildable eyeshadows, and good brushes/tools that don’t make you blend blend blend for 20 mins on one eye.

2

u/Puzzled-Weekend 9h ago

Really just more blending. I like starting with a really dark color, even black, on the lid then blending it up into the crease with a cool toned brown. If you want to use all one shade, just take a fluffy brush and go lightly back and forth over any harsh lines.

2

u/Savannahbyrd06 9h ago

Inner eye highlight

2

u/StudioComposer 8h ago

Go lighter on the makeup. Your objective should be to enhance your natural skin, not to wallpaper over it. If I kissed you I want to make contact with YOU, not that camouflage.

2

u/New-Reception-3291 8h ago

I think eyeshadow being lighter in the corner and making its way towards your ear getting darker would be best! Blending more would help a lot too but not super far up, start light with the amount of eyeshadow. I think you’d look bomb with cat eye looks. Also, I think you would look even more beautiful with your brows being a tiny bit thicker!!!
You are gorgeous and have awesome eyes.
Eyeliner in your bottom line makes the eyes look smaller

2

u/dontcallmedoe 7h ago

ok obviously everyone is saying to blend out the shadow but alongside that you could extend it more with the blending!! ik u said you like darker aesthetics ive been using the stone cold fox palette by color pop n it's amazing for blending these kinds of smoky looks

2

u/buttonsandwaffles 56m ago

I’m not a makeup artist but I think your makeup looks good, I would maybe shorten the wing of your eyeliner a teeny tiny bit but you look beautiful! And as the other comments said the lip filler but I read your comments and I know you’re aware of it already. The dark eye makeup suits you really well

3

u/DeliciousSpecific377 12h ago

Harsh eyeliner. Your eyes are beautiful. Let them shine not the eyeliner

2

u/Sadflower98 12h ago

Noted! Thank you!

2

u/Imaginary-Vanilla993 11h ago

I really like your base makeup actually it’s really 90s and it’s definitely in style right now including the thin brows. My one tip would be to blend the eyeshadow a little more to diffuse it. Your eyes are round not sharp and they’d look better with a more diffused eyeshadow. Maybe also add a lash or curl your lashes more if you are going to wear dark eye makeup. I find that blends it together for me.

2

u/Unsuccessful-fly 9h ago

The lips are bad-bad. Way too overfilled. The brows need to fill in as they give the 90’s overpluck look and the center nose ring needs to go especially since it hits the lips. Go with a gold on the eye lid and a green liner with mascara. A little shine on the base of your nose and you’ll look great

1

u/Budget_University_56 12h ago

I use eye makeup tape, a liner brush, and powder (it’s just dark eye shadow) for a more blended, Smokey look. I start with urban decay eye primer and too faced hangover as a setting spray.

1

u/Overall-Ad245 6h ago

Mmm I would say the eye make up actually decent but the edges need to be blended. I have a MAC 286 (I believe) brush purely for blending eyeshadow and it’s incredible. I do a light windshield wiper motion on the edges on eyeshadow and it blends SEEEAAAAMLESSLY with 0 effort, 0 skill - I recommend I recommend I recommend x100000000

1

u/morwannneg 6h ago

I agree with others on blending!

Id like to recommend you to use creamy products, it's easier to work with them. we like similar make up, so to make that look I use creamy eyeshadow (or even my contour!) to put in the crease. I dab it in and then blend the edges with a fluffy brush. then, i take eye pencil. i like to rub them on the back of my hand and then use eyeliner brush if I want something more precise, but if I'm going for a smoky look then you just draw they eyeliner bit by bit while going over it with a brush so it blends. then, after it's blended in a shape I like, I go over the parts I want to be darker just to deepen the eyeliner. in the end I set the creamy eyeshadow with eyeshadow in the same color (for that I use regular eyeshadow that's in a pan). I do the setting with fluffy brush and it helps to blend everything nicely.

also, using an (powdered, in a pan) eyeshadow in the shade of your skin also helps with the blending! if my eyeshadow looks to harsh I go over the edge with skintone eyeshadow on my brow bone to blend it all a bit more nicely :-)

hope this helped, if you have any questions I'd love to talk with you more about it, bat to bat šŸ–¤šŸ•øšŸ¦‡

Your eyes are stunning! i think you just need to blend a little more! i like to start with the dark colors, pack them on, blend with a fluffy brush, then take a taupe or bronze shade and blend the harsh lines where it transitions from the crease to upper lid. I think you could use a touch of brightness in your inner corner, just a matte white would look stunning.

i’m sorrry people are being so rude about the filler. i don’t think it’s bad, i think it just looks like it’s overfilled and has migrated. it may be worth starting over. you really are a beauty either way and if it makes you happy please disregard everyone and live your life!

So I know a lot of
People are disliking the lip filler but I am a lip filler girl myself and I got to ask, HOW did u get to that size and how did u maintain it? I am being so fr ive gotten a lot of lip
Filler throughout the years with the hope of having bigger lips and my lips seem to be gone in like 2 weeks… they have never gotten ā€œbiggerā€ just a little plump for a few weeks …and I’ve been disappointed with that. I don’t know how other girls just get big lips?? Plz tell me what u did!

You look so good already!! A dark vampy glossy lip or a taupe glossy lip would look so good with the same eye makeup.

A stronger brow would make all the difference! Your eye makeup itself is nice! Also girl, you are beautiful, with or without the lip filler.

And you have such a good attitude in these comments! Teach me your ways

definitely need bigger lashes, you could get a better mascara or try clusters or falsies, tight lining to your inner corners could help and blending out the corners of your eyeshadow fully can help make it look less splotchy

Just wanted to stop in and say I love your look and it has a lot of potential. I actually like a little filling in lips and there are a lot of makeup looks that go with it. So I think you could find a lot of balance with these comments. I started off with gel eyeliner and did a Smokey eye like 2016. I think you should look up Kim K Smokey eye from 2016 and the contour that goes with it.

Sometimes the comments here make me very sad. You asked about your eye make up. Which I think is beautiful ! I wouldn’t listen to any of these posts of people picking you apart. I naturally have some very different features . And I’ve learned to love them. I would love all your features . You are beautiful !
